how to get snow off chiseled blocks

Anyone know how to get snow off chiseled blocks? I'm trying to copy the same design all the way around, but I didn't have a roof when winter came, and can't manage to get the snow off the chiseled bits. I tried water, but that ended up water logging the blocks which was it's own nightmare. added a pic for context, appreciate any help.

Destroy the blocks and place them again.
It worked for me with stone.

Stairs have the same issue. No way to fix it but to wait for summer afaik.
