Bloomery should drop itself

I wanted to move my bloomery but instead of dropping the two crafted items, I got back 7 bricks... not enough to make a bloomery again.

Other items don't act like this, it seems out of place to suddenly punish me for trying to pick it up.  It should drop all 12 bricks, or better yet, just drop the two crafted items.

I'm good with it. Seven seems a bit light. I usually get eight or nine on average. So it takes one pit kiln of bricks to replace the defective ones in three or four bloomeries.

It is an oxidixing fire. I'd expect to lose more than that IRL. That's why wood stoves use refractory bricks.

Ah, yeah. That can be pretty annoying.
I think a compromise could be "bloomery drops it's parts unless it has been used first".

Agreed. Although if I misplace one, I typically just fire it up rather than try to move it. They don't take that long to smelt the ore, and I'll be breaking it anyway to get the ore out.

Oh, @beefnuts I had not realized that was the situation.

I open one every game or two that for whatever reason I thought was lit but hadn't, and lose a few blocks. Guess I'm still OK with it. Outside of polar or gravel/sand region, fire clay is everywhere.

Yes, fire bricks are something I'm still struggling with to figure out how much I really need. Before long, I have a dozen stacks of raw firebricks in my inventory and wonder what the hell I was thinking.

Turns out it's technically possible for a bloomery to drop all 12 bricks, I just had it happen then!

I just saw it suggested youtube after looking at some indie voxel game projects.
