You are not the first one to suggest this, so you are spoilt for choice: https://mods.vintagestory.at/list/mod?sortby=lastreleased&sortdir=desc&text=sticks Edited April 10, 2025 by Brady_The 1
LadyWYT Posted April 10, 2025 Report Posted April 10, 2025 Welcome to the forums! I think stick recipes are better left to mods, as sticks are fairly easy to acquire already in the game. Making a pair of shears and shearing leaves before you chop trees is a good way to net not only a lot of sticks, but more tree seeds as well. 3
Never Jhonsen Posted April 10, 2025 Report Posted April 10, 2025 They're a nuisance to collect in the early game, but once you make a pair of shears? Well by the end of the year you'll have a crate full of sticks. Stick hunting in the early game really does suck, I'm with you there But just hang in there, it gets easier
Thorfinn Posted April 10, 2025 Report Posted April 10, 2025 If you have a calm night, find the nearest thick bushes and go to town. Axe is a tad faster, but not worth it. Use a stick in your hand, or a torch, if you've already topped up the nutrition bars in the food categories you have. Three stacks of sticks by morning, easy.

I've got nearly a crate full of layers of sticks, and it's early September. I have no idea why. By next spring, I'm going to have close to two crates, and they will all go to waste when I start a new world. OCD, I guess. It just seems so wasteful to just let all those branchy leaves decay.
