v1.21 "do_not_add_mods_here.txt"

So I broke down and installed 1.21 - I know, I know, to heck with stable versions, I need to see that new WorldGen!

I have a question about the customized shortcut that allows me to install multiple versions.

In the 1.21 Mods folder is a text file that says:

This place is reserved for the base game mods only (VSSurvivalMod VSCreativeMod and VSEssentials).

Do not use it for other mods, instead put other mods in the VintageStoryData/Mods folder.

 

I've been using a desktop shortcut that redirects the data to be kept under the Game directory -- Target: C:\Games\Vintagestory\VS21\Vintagestory.exe --dataPath=C:\Games\Vintagestory\VS21

Should my old dataPath have \VintageStoryData added to the end? ( --dataPath=C:\Games\Vintagestory\VS21\VintageStoryData ) Maybe it should have been that way all along?

I'd nest it one deeper.

Target: C:\Games\Vintagestory\VS21\Vintagestory.exe --dataPath=C:\Games\Vintagestory\VS21\mygame
