    As you go through the checkout process (place items in cart, then one or two pages past that) there will be a place to provide your email address as either a returning member or a new member. If your email address is the same as your forum account and you're making the purchase as a returning member, then I believe it should be linked properly. This is just my assessment of it though, having just done a 'trial' purchase to test it out; I've no particular special knowledge on the subject.

    I had a lot of trouble with that too.
    It is shift right-click. I just went into the game to figure it out again because I could not remember. Using the raft is not intuitive at all and I didn't notice any tool tips.

    Ashantin's LP, with worldgen in 1.18.0, has the large one with arches. Pretty sure I've seen one with cellars in someone else's LP but not certain.

    There is no way to collect rainwater.

    Why is it a bummer? The mushroom spore remains and it will regrow; there is just no stump left. eta: mushrooms were reworked in 1.16.

    You can get a treasure map from a certain type of trader. I don't know how much info you want and don't want to spoil it...
    The world must have been created in 1.18, OR there are certain things you can do to put it into an existing world (detailed in one of the update posts).
    eta: Activate the Treasure Map (I think like a book or a scroll) which places a mark on your map or gives you directions if your worldmap is disabled.

    Yes, there are up-to-date mods. I just did a search on "animal" and saw 2 (with just a quick glance; there could be more) that are updated to 1.18.

    Apparently an understanding of rock strata is helpful in finding different rocks. I'll be interested to see the replies here, as this is something I've been unable to grasp on my own. Meanwhile, here is the wiki page (kimberlite is an igneous rock, and phyllite is metamorphic):

    EDIT: Btw, kimberlite can only be made into cobblestone (and polished stone). It can only contain chromium, titanium and uranium so that might help narrow it down if using the propick.

    In the post for 1.18.0-rc.1, Tyron mentions that the tutorial in incomplete. I don't know if that is what is causing the torch problem, but I'd highly recommend asking this in the VS discord server since the tutorial feature is so new: Vintage Story Discord Invitation Link

    I would like that ability too. We do have the ability to copy and paste settings from a previously generated world:
    Go to the "Your Worlds" screen as if you would like to select a saved game to play. Select the 'edit' icon for the save of your choice. Within that window is a line for "playstyle" - you want to select 'copy.' Then, within the customize window for creating a new world, simply 'paste' and the playstyle you copied will be applied to the entire window.
    If any of the VS Team reads this: please make an easier way to save a custom world gen setup. Having a saved customized seraph would be much appreciated as well. Thanks!

    With that information, I searched the News forum to learn more.
    There were 2 recent additions preparing for ropes and boats to be implemented:
    I could not find the wiki information on these, but maybe the rope simulation did not work out and was removed in 1.16.5? I do not know. This is the first I heard of it.

    No, immature crops do not always drop a seed.
    It seems to me that wild crops in the earliest stage of growth have the highest likelihood of dropping seed.

    Hi! Armor can be repaired. Tools cannot, not unless it is something new that I didn't notice.
