First Pickaxe Ever

Just wanted to share after 10 ingame days and about 2 weeks of playing (I've limited time) i acquired copper and made a Pickaxe for the very first time! This was very satisfying!

EDIT: I made a mistake! It was not 10 in-game days, but longer! This video was on May 10th Year 0 (I don't know the default starting month )

Hahahaha Thanks!! Feels pretty good. I still haven't prepped anything for winter (I hear it's brutal) but how bad could it really be?

That depends on how long you chose the months to be.  Shorter months makes it harder since there's less time to harvest wild crops for seed and capture animals for breeding.  Regardless, it as long as you don't ignore one of those game loops, you should be fine.  Grain and vegetables last at least one year in cellar storage.  Even a modest garden of just 16 blocks of farmland should provide enough for the first winter.

I've got default settings on the world (Except the one that gives you the colored map? I forget the name) 

I have never even knapped a Flint Hoe Head  guess I better start learning how to farm!

Default months are 9 days long.  If it's May 10, you changed that in the world settings.

So I run my own private server (It's just me for now) I don't even know where this Configuration would be located o: So while you're correct, I didn't make the change  I wonder what it's actually set to... Oh boy

If memory serves me well, servers default to 30 day months
