ExpandedStomach is a Vintage Story mod that enhances the game's food system by allowing players to continue eating even when their normal Satiety bar is full. This mod introduces a secondary "stomach" system that lets you store additional food beyond your character's normal saturation limit, creating more realistic and strategic eating mechanics.

Features

  • Secondary Stomach System: Continue eating after your normal Satiety bar is full
  • Drawback System: Overeating can cause negative effects, such as weight gain, which can affect game play over time
  • Stomach Size: Your stomach can expand over time based on eating habits
  • 7-Day Average System: Your stomach size is based on your average daily eating habits
  • Configurable Difficulty: Multiple settings to adjust the mod to your preferred play style
  • Immersive Messages: Optional in-game messages that provide feedback on your character's fullness
  • Mod Compatibility: Designed to work with 'Xskills', 'Hydrate or Diedrate', and any mods that add food items by extending the BlockMeal and CollectibleObject classes

Update:

  • Fixed issue with configs not loading properly before joining a multiplayer server
  • Fixed issue where eating a regular food item would not put the proper amount in the expanded stomach.
  • Fixed some issues with client and server commands
  • Added Maintenance Mode to allow strain value to decay over time when not overeating
  • Added movement speed penalty when player overstuffs the expanded stomach (over 90% capacity; configurable)
  • Added configurations to support new features
  • Added support for consuming liquids such as fruit juice or alcohol.
  • Added experimental (better) support for Expanded Foods food items. NOT TESTED with bowl meals or pies. No idea if it will work. 🙃 EF and ACA are both still very much WIP mods.
  • Changed bar location if either Vigor, Hydrate or Diedrate, or Body Heat Bar mods are loaded.
  • Changed bar location adjustment to a static location just between the vanilla satiety bar and other modded bars so the Expanded Stomach bar always sits just over the satiety bar.
  • Changed stomach size changes to cap at +/- 200 on easy mode, +/- 100 on normal mode, and +/- 50 on hard mode.

humorously teasing descriptor? 🙃

Pretty much this, but it's based on the fat percentage. The description itself is straightforward, but it does make it rather easy to know who to tease mercilessly about fridge raiding.

So if we install this I can have some fun following one of my friends around with a Tuba, since he's always raiding our cellar?

YEP. Though do keep in mind that it does take a while for effects of bad habits to show themselves. The drawbacks are pretty sneaky like that. Of course, if you or a friend has admin powers, they could always expedite the process via the console.

typing /es debug setfatlevel Heart_Afire 1 would give you 100% fat level...it's actually funny to try it.

Please don't, the last thing the world needs is a morbidly obese copper dragon. Themberchaud was bad enough.

That said, if I do, the game should absolutely set my Seraph's voice to "Tuba".
