alxz Posted August 6, 2025 Report Posted August 6, 2025 (edited) Hello everyone!!! First of all, kudos to the devs: with this game they have managed to bring me back to the vibes of when I first started the beta of Minecrafy almost 10 years ago now. Now. I'm trying to figure out how to optimize the world generation settings to have the best possible experience for me. I like the idea of having a big, huge world, a save file that I can play for years. (Like the old days of Minecraft). So, I've already started playing around with the settings, and reading various discussions on this forum and on Reddit, but I haven't found anything specific. So the question are: 1. What are the best settings to have a world with large continents, vast oceans, without annoying mountains every 3 steps, with realistic temperatures, in a world with 8 million blocks? What about height? Will I broke something doin this? 2. If I set 30 days per month, what parameters would be best to change besides hunger reduction, and food spoilage, for better realism? For now I have these doubts, and I thank in advance anyone who wants to dissipate them. PS: No mods, only vanilla game! Edited August 6, 2025 by alxz
Damn You Micu Posted October 26, 2025 Report Posted October 26, 2025 damn no one has replied to this at all, I have the same question
Echo Weaver Posted October 26, 2025 Report Posted October 26, 2025 I'm not sure anyone can answer the question as written. Some folks have experimented with the settings, but I don't know that anyone can answer at this level of detail. I think the best thing to do is to experiment with settings and see what you get.
Maelstrom Posted October 27, 2025 Report Posted October 27, 2025 Thanks to @Professor Dragon there is this on the wiki. It's probably the best answer that can be had. Scroll down until you see a bunch of minimaps. World Configuration - Vintage Story Wiki 1 1
