awesome game [1.21.6] [Eastern US] Well aged Pro-Hosted server owner is looking for a group of Loners and Misfits to form a community of Hermits.

Just as the ridiculous title states, I have run a small MC server before, and would like to find a group that wants to make a well funded and long term VS server into their own little escape from life. I dont care how you play, you may not even have a style. I dont care when you play, you may not even have a work life to play around. What I do care about is finding a group of weirdos that need a place to do dumb stuff. A place where you can share ideas, and others can tell you how bad they are. But a place thatll last forever, because I will remain once everyone else has grown up and left.
If this sounds of any interest to you, please consider commenting or straight up joining. I would like to focus on realism and a reasonable survival experience. I am also hopeful that map-making will be a possibility in a couple years, where I can then start work on a custom map. But until then I would really like to keep the mods simple and minimal for the ease of updating and running the server, without any likeliness of having to wipe the world, I hate losing work. Im still very new to this game and am very much a Dummy. I would really like a group to come together to make our own place. 
So far, and things are likely to be further altered, survival is a little easier by means of health, hunger, and damages. It is in an attempt to not make running into monsters and beasts an immediate death sentence. Plus, Ive extended the days 5x. So theres no sleeping every 20 minutes, or suffering with thumb-twiddling for nearly half an hour waiting to be able to play when your bed time is fast approaching. Loads of time to explore and loot ruins, and find traders that may offer something useful for too many gears. All of this in a land crafted by Terra Preta, stricken with dangerous landslides and cave-ins, and seasons set to lengths that'll upset you. Just like in real life!

Hello, I am willing and would love to join this server! I did have some questions though. Will this be a server starting soon or is it already in progress? I joined the server only to notice that some mods where definitely missing seeing as there are ? Blocks everywhere. Btw love the windmill.

It has been started for about 6 weeks. Only two of us have been playing. 

The missing blocks are from the Trailmod not being updated. Im not sure if I want to do the update to clear those up, I love the mod but if the creator wont keep up on it, Ill be screwed. So I may remove them by hand. 

Update made. Mod probably only needed a game version tweak. Its not incredibly complicated and I should be able to keep it for years to come.

BetterRuins and Traders, Terra Prety with Far-See'r in general. Then I have More Piles, Trails, Lower light levels of spawns, Autodrops for Rust creatures and extended sleep because of my lengthened day cycle.

Im not sure what it is with People having connection issues as often as they do. If anyone can tell me what their experience is, Id like to know in case its a problem that I have to fix. The server is freshly on 1.21, and I think its in Atlanta.

Eventually. Probably pretty soon as these sub versions arent major changes. But Im new to the game and would rather not rush into it. Best to always play the game with manual control over updates.

I will have to say, the dirt blocks collapsing and the random gravel trying to cave in underneath running or touching it does throw me off since I wasn't expecting that to happen. It does mean dirt huts to start off is out of the question

Welp, I got killed near my base during a medium temporal storm. The storm has been raging for about 4 in game hours and shows no signs of stopping any time soon. I attempted to run back to base but my own temporal stability hit 0 and now I am in a never ending loop of being stuck in the rust world with nothing but what i was wearing. I was reading that once your temporal stability hits 0 you can't get it to go back up unless you use a temporal gear or you kill some drifters. Both of these are impossible without weapons, and shivers keep spawning next to me the entire time I try to get back to my weapons.

I think this may be the end for my run unless I can figure out a way to restore stability once the storm ends. XD

Ok so, my run is fine. Turns out once the storm ends even with my gear being empty it does refill. I got lucky and VembetTheDuck showed up and slept through the storm. All is well in the story!

Welly welly well. You just might have found yourself another deplorable I meant misfit I meant player. I haven't delved into the multiplayer world as of yet but after four hundred hours of vanilla survival I can attest to the fact that I am prepared to experience some team work if not a lot of it. 

Now just to find the server, here goes. 

*Edit* Well, if I could figure out how to join your server. Alright I'll be honest, I have never joined another server online for a game. I am a quick study. Any and all help will be appreciated.

I cant read far enough back to see what the issue is. Its usually just the wrong game version. Its still on 1.21.0

I am unable to find your Server. Do I just enter the numbers from your original post in the address bar? Ive been playing 1.20 but that shouldn't keep me from joining a server that plays 1.21. However, first I must locate the server. This is where im struggling. Ive figured out how to open my own and this is not what im wanting to do.

Youll have to update to 1.21.0*

And then you can either paste the address into the server address bar, OR you can search for the server name on the multiplayer list

Okay. So I was unable to locate your server because I only have 1.20. Makes sense. I'll update and see what I can figure out. I think I could have some fun teaming up with you.

Alright, that was a certified hassle but then again, what isn't any longer?  Ive updated to 1.21 and now I can't get Discord to verify but im not certain I have to have that in order to play. I will figure this out. 

Is 1.21 glitchy for everyone else too?

You dont need Discord. Thats just a community lounge. Just make sure its 1.21.zero and not 1.21.1

The mods should be prompted and then automatically downloaded. Thats it.
