I'm not sure if you're trolling or just clueless. But this game is an uncompromising survival game. Taking one step at a time is the journey that makes the experience worth it. The game already has a redstone-like mechanic, it's called mechanical power which uses wind to make it work, and in 1.22 we're supposedly getting an energy source that uses water and not wind only, along with other goodies like elevators. 
I feel like you refuse to accept that the game is not for you, and if it isn't, that's okay. You can refund the game to get your money back and move on. I heard that Hytale is almost getting revived, and when it releases you can check if that game is more to your liking. As for this one, it caters to a more specific immersive hardcore playerbase. It's not a game for everyone. Even the creators agree to that. I hope that you eventually find a game that's more suited to your needs.

This game is not the other block game; it's in fact its direct opposite aimed to focus precisely on survial aspects, instead of sandbox nature.

What's good and what isn't is not up to you to decide. You may think redstone is fun, meanwhile I consider it what derailed Minecraft's original vision. In the end, there's nothing modding cannot fix, provided a game is popular enough. If a need arises, people will make it.

I personally see no reason to add advanced logic to VS... yet. Maybe in the future, when we'll get the steam power and full jonas endgame content integration? It would make sense - depending on Tyron's vision - to have some ability to control all the intricate machinery. For now, though? Not so much. I like the gritty, early medieval fantasy atmosphere of the game. I hope it stays this way. I don't want another clone of that other block game. Again, it is exactly why we're all here.

"This game is not the other block game" totally makes it a true fact now !!!.... minecraft doesnt focus on survial.... (what the hell is survial?) you mean survival? last time i checked minecraft has a hardcore mode WHERE ITS ALL ABOUT SURVIVAL... even the non hardcore mode is about survival but its also not limited by bad choices.... vintage story not a sandbox nature game??? you cant be real dude...

when did i say it was upto me to decide whats good? im pretty sure logic and common sense does that :S... you considered it derailed minecraft but you are never forced to use it? WTB logic for 500 please.... and if you really think redstone derailed minecraft (LOL) you really need to look at some of the insane amazing stuff people have created because of redstone... a guy literally made an insane house with secret elements due to redstone... one of the best things ever made in minecraft... and ill say it again someone made a life size gameboy which plays mario in minecraft.... thats literally mind blowingly insane....

yes you are right about the modding part which is why most of the mods for this game is called "better loot", "better ruins" etc.... a good game wouldnt need that.... what are the odds :S?

"we are all here" LOL what 10 people? 100 people ? 1000 people? minecraft has 100000000000000000000000x more people there is a reason for that.... you just seem to not grasp the concept of what will attract players to your game... having a small player base will ensure that in time the game will die out...

You seem to be claiming that VS is exactly Minecraft and then complaining that it's not exactly Minecraft.

Is there some reason you can't just play Minecraft? We don't need another Minecraft because we have, well, Minecraft. 

I get that you think that your judgment is better than everyone else here because we're all fanboy shills rather than just playing a game we like, but -- what is the point of hanging out here and yelling at us? We obviously don't agree with you. You're not going to make us agree with you. What is it you want?

I really, really try to give everyone the benefit of the doubt. But you are making that difficult.

Redstone is not necessary. I made some complicated logic circuitry in Terraria using creature spawners. This fixation you have on the means to an end is not flattering. To you, I mean.  And would likely get the game in copyright trouble anyway. Against Micro$oft.

What you fail to grasp is that having a massive playerbase in an early release game would result in more people like... you. Who does not seem to have a civil bone in his body. Thanks, I'll pass.

I don't know that we even have to argue this part. VS apparently grew very dramatically this year. It's got more than enough players for Anego to expand. It's got a respectable playerbase. 

People obviously like it. Moreover, attracting more players by being just like a different higher-profile game doesn't pass the smell test. Minecraft already does what Minecraft does better than anyone else. Not only do we not want to compete that way, there's no way to win.

Do you think that if 100% of the people engaging disagree with you, any of your suggestions will be added to the game?

do you think the game will last if they dont get added? plenty of games in early release die out coz the makers listen to the clueless people of their games... why do you think poe is one of the top games out there... BECAUSE THEY DONT LISTEN TO THE CLUELESS people in their game... who would of thought :S

EDIT: its almost like there is hard proof showing how wrong you are...

Um, yes. It's already been a financial success for years. It took on a record number of new players this year. There appear to be quite a few people who like it.

As someone who owns and has played BOTH versions of the other block game, Project Glint is giving me major "Bedrock" vibes.  I am hoping that I am proven incorrect.  Ideally, I would have liked to see Vintage Story fully finished before the team makes another game, but I am a relative newbie THAT HAS LEARNED from the previous posts on this thread.  I have not even gotten to the Wind power of this game, though, from what I have heard, it makes MUCH MORE SENSE here than the other game's Create mod that I despise with a passion.  I am also not a Redstoner on the other game.

EDIT:  I should probably clarify that I have NO grievance with either version of the other block game.  I went to Bedrock after Caves and Cliffs locked me out of playing Java smoothly.

i used to be a non redstoner it seemed to complex but once you start doing things with it the game chances and its amazing the things you can create

I don't follow. What comparison are you making here?

Java and Bedrock Minecraft are very close to the same game designed for different platforms. That's not the same as two different games using the same engine. Unreal is a game engine. I don't think anyone would claim every game made on it is the same game.

Or are you saying something else? I'm not being sarcastic. I just don't follow.
