HalfAxd Posted December 16, 2025 Report Posted December 16, 2025 Dig trenches 3 blocks deep and as long as you like (10 blocks for me)... set tall stacks of dirt on each end so you see it at a distance... Work around the prey so they are between you and the trench, then walk toward them. They will run directly away from you and into the trench. Easy peasy Enjoy

Gryphon_Games Posted February 6 Report Posted February 6 I does seem a little crazy at times that a rabbit can be stabbed with a spear 8 times and still be alive lol. I do hope some tweaks are made to animals sometime just so they aren't literal tanks. Hopefully fixing some of the drops too cause harvesting an entire bear to get 3 pieces of meat and 0 fat is crazy.
Dilan Rona Posted February 6 Author Report Posted February 6 I agree with you regarding the meat drops not proportional to the size of the animal. Fortunately you can install R.Meat or Butchering. Real Meat is another option (although I havent played with that one yet). Word of advice, when dealing with those mods, make sure to install Primitive Survival as well. You'll need the smoker mechanic.
