Venusgate Posted January 1 Report Posted January 1 It's probably expanding your maximum health because your nutrition in vegetable dietary category is going up. I've never seen it make your health go from full to less than full - were you already a little hurt? 1
Brady_The Posted January 1 Report Posted January 1 The pictured stew shouldn't hurt you. My first thought reading your topic was, that you used a poisonous mushroom in the cooking process, but you did not. Any negative health effects should be noted in the description. Are you using any mods that punish you if you eat something too hot? Is your player character allergic to onions or carrots? Jokes aside, from that screenshot alone I cannot tell you why you'd take damage from eating. It might be another mod doing something. I seriously doubt that this is a Vanilla issue. Can you reproduce taking damage when eating from that stew? Do you take damage when eating a stew with completely different ingredients? If you can repeat taking damage, I'd go ahead and utilise a binary search to find out what mod could potentially causing this.

Either that, or the health bar is shrinking a bit due to other nutrition going down. 6 hours ago, Brady_The said: Jokes aside, from that screenshot alone I cannot tell you why you'd take damage from eating. One easy way to find out, potentially, is that if OP is actually taking damage, there should be information related to what kind of damage it is listed in the Damage info tab. Given that the OP is holding tongs in the offhand, it's possible he could've stepped on a fire/molten metal while eating, and mistaken that for the stew causing problems. 2
