jetkhan Posted January 5 Report Posted January 5 Just want to say this was the 'new' game I enjoyed most in 2025, my Game Of The Year! It just captivated me so much right from the start! My favorite genre is survival crafting, with games like Green Hell, Raft, Don't Starve, Subnautica, Sons of the Forest, Project Zomboid, Stationeers, Valheim, Terraria, The Long Dark, Oxygen Not Included, and Ancestors among my all-tme favs. I always wanted the original Minecraft to be less cartoon-gimmicky, and more survival-crafty. This is it! This is what I imagined it should have been. Thanks to the devs! P.S. I haven't gotten far enough into the game yet to appreciate much of the story or higher tech tiers, looking forward to what awaits. 1 5

This is what I imagined it should have been. Thanks to the devs! As much of a meme Minecraft is in the VS community, I can appreciate that we have both games to enjoy now. I tend to prefer VS, but sometimes I just want to hang out in the simple whimsy of MC for a change of pace.

I've been playing on and off since I discovered VS sometime in late 2024, I'm not very 'good' at it but, for me, it's an absolutely fantastic game that suits me perfectly. I'm now in my first year of a 30 day month save, early September and getting a little nervous about the food. And my sows and boar show no interest at all in each other.
