Teeler Posted Saturday at 11:28 PM Report Posted Saturday at 11:28 PM After one in game year my base is really starting to come together! Still working on getting enough flax for a windmill and a barn for some pigs I have trapped (Havent found goats yet so no cheese for me) 4
EnbyKaiju Posted Saturday at 11:36 PM Report Posted Saturday at 11:36 PM So much love and care has gone into all these designs, I really love them! I love how considered each space is to feel used and alive. 2

I've always like having buildings have a purpose and to not cram too much purpose into any single building. Definitely not optimized but makes each build feel worth it to start new content the game has to offer. 2

The way I see it optimisation should never be the end goal of Vintage Story, the strive to min-max everything makes it feel too much like minecraft. Just enjoying the flow of the game and taking it in a way that feels natural to you. Having a little building set aside for each thing and making it feel real is a great way to do that. I can't wait too see the future incarnations of your little town and the builds that come next!
Nathan Flaminio Posted Sunday at 07:41 PM Report Posted Sunday at 07:41 PM Great use of the space, I like it! Feels like a place I'd be happy to call home. We've built and done everything you can do in the game so far, and now have gotten to the point of building a village around our compound and starting additional bases in distant locations (so far mostly just flattening land and building orchards/farmland). It'll be another year or two before we can fully implement everything, but I'm really enjoying the process. I look forward to seeing your progress!
BabaTheFool Posted yesterday at 02:25 AM Report Posted yesterday at 02:25 AM Everything is so neat and organized! Did you plan the placing out beforehand? Adore the well
