Enudoran Posted Friday at 09:40 AM Report Posted Friday at 09:40 AM I've been checking out a few new worlds since 1.22 and fiddled with the starting parameters. Would be nice if for some options you could tick a "random" checkbox or select which options/range would be acceptable, but the game decides what to pick. Got the idea when picking starting climate. But I bet it would be fun for some other settings as well. Character class comes to mind directly. Sure I could use a randomizer tool online to let it pick and then set this, but knowing humans (and myself), I might not actually stick to that, while after generating the world I'd be more inclined to then play whatever I got. I do that a lot in games where's it's possible. Rimworld starting spot and pawns being a main example. Nothing pressing, just a suggestion to mix it up a bit. 4

I think this is actually a great idea, and would love to have it in the game! 2

Welcome to the forums! In fairness, I don't think a "random" option in the game solves this issue either, as players are just going to reroll if they don't like what they got. But I don't think it's a bad idea either.
