Helst_navngivet Posted June 2 Report Posted June 2 (edited) (spoiler because its a tiny bit long) a little context: Spoiler our first ever cave diving trip was this one. We went in with NO ARMOR at all, and with a single copper spear. We managed to get rid of the two drifters at the entrance of the cave, and proceed further down. My friend, who is holding a torch, walks into a little stream of water running down the wall of the tunnellike cave. Thats fine. We have a backup torch! We then walk a little further down the cave in complete darkness, then we take out our secondary torch. We were quite lucky we did, because there was this drop, it was only about 10 meters, but we didnt have a pickaxe on us, and no blocks either. Then we see two of these glowing red eyes. We think its kind of scary, but it was down in the pit, so it couldnt hurt us. This godforsaken creature climbs on to the wall, but we barely pick up on that because were talking, and its still in pitch black darkness. My friend turns to look down in the pit again. The eyes are a now just below eyelevel, and is still plunged in darkness. I turn to look at him. Then he just gets oneshotted. Right before my very eyes. I barely see the arm, only hearing the chainsaw noise, before i dart out of the cave. We had no idea what it was before we got copper plate armor, and killed one of the bastards.
