SnapJelly Posted 1 hour ago Report Posted 1 hour ago Hello friends, I tried searching for if people aleady suggested this but couldn't find any so here is my suggesion: I would like there to be larger cooking vessels that would let you cook more than 6 portions at a time! I personally like to stock up on resources and cook large portions all at once so a cooking pot that would let you cook 8 or 12 portions would be very convenient, more convinient for transporting into crocks too. Copper, brass, iron and other metals have been very common materials for cooking pots in history so I don't think a large metal cooking vessel would look out of place! food for thought (pun intended) 1
Rainbow Fresh Posted 1 hour ago Report Posted 1 hour ago I agree that a larger cooking pot would be a very neat addition for a variety of reasons. It feels like progress, considering progress in the food department spans the whole of Pottery Age to Copper Age; with the Pottery age being when you unlock food (cooking, everything else is a waste) and the copper age being when you gain the ability to mine salt and craft buckets/barrels/the distillery. That is... not alot considering the need to eat is a permanent companion into the Steel Age and beyond. It would also be very handy to have bigger, *rounder* portion sizes to cook so you can spend less time watching to pot/campfire fuel and don't have to awkwardly handle the two spare portions or artificially handycap yourself to only cooking 4 portions at once. Luckily, until the day the devs pick up on this, there is a neat little mod doing literally just this https://mods.vintagestory.at/metalpots 1
