DarkGold Posted August 25 Report Posted August 25 I put down a couple of carpets next to each other and noticed they don't connect. It would be nice if their textures dynamically connected to adjacent carpets, so you could make larger connected rugs. A rough example of what I am thinking of: Is there a mod that already does this? 8
River Oak Posted August 25 Report Posted August 25 Could go even further and make them adjustable with a wrench. Which would be kinda weird tbh so maybe a sewing kit instead of a wrench. 2

This would support using carpets as something like fancy placemats on a table, or other situations where you might not want them to automatically connect. I'm all for providing players with more ways to express themselves like that. A sewing kit seems like a sensible tool for the job, and given traders sell them (and the only way to get carpet is from traders, so not a homo sapiens game mode issue to rely on them), I don't see a problem with putting this on an item the player might not be able to craft depending on their class.
SnapJelly Posted August 26 Report Posted August 26 I fully support this! I have encountered other things before in game that don't quite line up well and while not gamebreaking by any means it is a little annoying when you have a cute build in mind but it doesn't add up
PhotriusPyrelus Posted August 29 Report Posted August 29 Yeah, if it's gonna be carpet it should probably do this. If they were, like, rugs or something, this would be fine.
