Micah Holmes Posted October 2 Report Posted October 2 Having a issue with vanilla rendered fat recipe. Is this broken? I have a cooking pot and stuck it inside but says no recipe??.
LadyWYT Posted October 2 Report Posted October 2 To my knowledge, there's no issue with the recipe. Simply put the fat in one slot, then light a fire underneath the cookpot. The fat should render within a minute or two. Make sure the fat only occupies one slot though, or it won't work. The only other thing I can think of is that if you're playing with mods, one of them may be interfering with the recipe somehow.

You can put it in however many slots you feel like - the handbook tells you as much. Even when it says that "the pot is too small", it will work just fine. Using a residue-covered pot or mod interference are the most probable explanations.
