Amenta Posted October 19 Report Posted October 19 I play on a Macbook pro VS version 1.22.3 & it all runs great but I no longer see the moon?? its definitely gone its not like I can't see it or anything I've just been wondering what happened. I think I saw it the first time I played but after a bit I noticed it was gone.
Teh Pizza Lady Posted October 19 Report Posted October 19 Clouds. Look behind there. If it was a clear sky then it may have been a new moon and not visible.
Kiler_ Posted October 20 Report Posted October 20 It could also be the phase the moon is in. If it's waning crescent/new/waxing crescent it might be hard to see. I'm still waiting to see an eclipse. *sigh*
LadyWYT Posted October 20 Report Posted October 20 Welcome to the forums! 5 hours ago, Amenta said: I play on a Macbook pro Unfortunately this is most likely one of those odd OS-specific bugs. Other Mac users have reported the same issue. https://github.com/anegostudios/VintageStory-Issues/issues/5966 You could try fiddling with your settings as the user "frogboots" did in the report, as it seems he had some success in fixing the issue, and see if that makes the moon show up in your world. 1
Tom Cantine Posted Thursday at 05:24 PM Report Posted Thursday at 05:24 PM I have the same problem, and it was even more ridiculous for me because I was doing serious astronomy in game, trying to figure out the world's axial tilt, confirming solstice and equinox, etc. I am also on a Mac.

What a fascinating use of free will.
