It looks like gears get consumed sometimes, so I’ll need a ton of them to play around. How do I get gold out of this?

Only ethereal gears should be consumed, and only when an altar is activated.  You get gold from the other configurations only, involving temporal or astral gears. The necronomicon provides a relatively vague clue about how to set those up.

It's probably cured already.  Just eat it.
You can only cook it before it naturally cures.

Hi i tried to edit RaftWaterSpeedModifier in the modconfig, but it doesnt seem to take any effect on the speed of the raft. I've numbers from 0.3 to 0.9 and big numbers like 10 or even 100 just to see if something happened, but no.

am i doing something wrong?  Do i perhaps need to create a new raft for it to take effect?

Loving the mod so far, thank you!

How do the relics work when assembled? what I've figured out

dagon and hydra need to be assembled above water to work, like a pillar in the middle of a pond. but filling it with gears just damages me and occasionally drops fish when damaging me, and the fish give gold when filleted. is that it?

Make an unzipped copy of the file you want to modify. Modify it and save it then drag it to the zipped folder of the mod (Wherever the unmodified file resides in the mod) when it asks if you want to replace it say yes.

Then check it by opening the zipped file it should still have the changed values.

can you breed fish the same way you can animals by putting them in a small area
