Save files location [SOLVED]

Hello, I was not able to locate the savegame files on Windows 10.

My save got recently corrupted for no reason (I'm not using any mods), so I'd like to start making backups.

Can somebody point me in the right direction? Thanks

Edit: I noticed there's a create backup option in the game, so I guess that solves my problem.

By default, I believe the save files are under Users/(yourusername)/AppData/Roaming/VintagestoryData/Saves

However if you want multiple installs at some point, you can modify a shortcut to force saves into the game folder. This is what mine looks like:

Target: C:\Games\Vintagestory\VS13\Vintagestory.exe --dataPath=C:\Games\Vintagestory\VS13

I was looking for the location of save files in Linux and came across this post. For other's that might also find this post while trying to find this information here are my details:

Linux distro: Ubuntu 22
VS version: 1.18.15
Save location: ~/.config/VintageStoryData/Saves
