X-Ray?

I saw a couple pictures of people using x-ray on worlds and seeing ores, crystal areas, lava, old rooms, etc.. in their worlds and wanted to use it too. I can't seem to find anything in my world and need the help. Does anyone know how to use x-ray? If so please tell me! I've looked all over the site and the internet but nothing. Thank you!

You're out of luck, I'm afraid. X-ray vision was always considered an exploit, and in the latest patch, it was intentionally made impossible to pull off.

You can always cheat! I found out that when you make a block, if you make a side opaque then you can see straight into the void and spot any cave systems around you.

But that looks weird and ugly.

@l33tmaan Blocks have an inside render in 1.14. Seeing through them is not supposed to work anymore. Or is there still a way to make it happen?

Oho! I fixed my block's issue before I updated, so I guess Tyron wins this round.

pour water onto lava and in the time it takes to be replaced by obsidian you see much.

I've also found that things get... weird looking if you crank the field of view all the way up. Weird enough for part of the camera to clip through walls in tunnels that are only one or two blocks wide. This is a whole lot easier than actually doing anything to the game world to see through walls.
