Sekustrasza Posted April 8, 2024 Report Posted April 8, 2024 (edited) I'm failing to make sunflower candy. I seem to be putting in the correct ratio of ingredients (1 sunflower grain per 0.1L of honey) in the mixing bowl with a cooking pot in the bottom left slot, but it is not showing a product or allowing me to mix. I've got a whole lot of honey and sunflower grain I'd like to process. Edited April 8, 2024 by Sekustrasza

It's the Ovens from Decor Bazaar that do it, which also explains why fried foods keep their extra nutrition! So nothing to worry about on your end! Guess I'm gonna have to keep those as decorations . I think I can tell you exactly how to fix it. Go into that oven's .json file and change its class to "ExpandedOven". That's what I patch the regular ovens with. I'm not sure if that will break anything in that mod, though. On 4/8/2024 at 11:45 AM, Seana said: i wanted to know if there was a french patche avalaible I don't think so, not really. Honey + sunflower grain will SPECIFICALLY make gozinaki, but if you use any kind of syrup that IS NOT honey, it should make sunflower candy.

I've got plenty of cranberry and blueberry syrup, so I can just use that. I've also got pear syrup, but I want to make compot from it. Thanks for the advice. Edited April 13, 2024 by Sekustrasza 1
Laurian Posted April 27, 2024 Report Posted April 27, 2024 Hi everyone, I'm currently playing on a multiplayer server and I'm making quite a lot of mead, I've seen that there is 2 reciepes from this mod that I don't understand how to craft. It's the "Aged double mead portion" that transforms into the "Vintage double mead portion". I know how to make regular mead, strong mead and fine mead, but I don't know how to make those two other reciepes. Anyone got a hint for me ?
unhallowed Posted April 27, 2024 Report Posted April 27, 2024 (edited) Hello! Just wanted to expand on my question on the mod page. I haven't been able to use any of the foods from the new Wildcraft: Fruits and Nuts mods in any of the EF recipes. I had a situation where I had both old and new versions of Wildcraft installed at the same time (a MASSIVE mistake for reasons unrelated to EF), and in the old Wildcraft all these things still exist and could be made - but the same could not be done with the new version. This includes candied berries, dried berries, and syrups off the top of my head. I could still make wine out of the new Wildcraft fruits, but that wine doesn't age when bottled and stored to cure. It also can't be used in anything either. The old versions of Wildcraft have been abandoned. Is there a plan to revisit the compatibility for the new Wildcraft? Edited April 27, 2024 by unhallowed 1
Joe_C_Stewart Posted May 2, 2024 Report Posted May 2, 2024 Hey, guys what can I use Pre-gelatin for its going to go off and I have no idea what to use it for, someone else made it so you can say I am lost for what to use it for.

Pre-gelatin is used to make raw gelatin, then raw gelatin is used to make either plain or flavoured gelatin! I wrote out some notes on it because I honestly haven't been able to commit it to memory, it's a lot of steps from start to finish. 1. 1L bone broth + 1 bone = pre-gelatin 2. 0.1 pre-gelatin + 1L water + 1 bone = raw gelatin 3. 1 raw gelatin + 1L water = plain gelatin OR 1 raw gelatin + 1L water + 1L water + 0.1 syrup = flavoured gelatin For flavoured gelatin, you need two spaces of 1L water for the recipe to work - which is why I wrote it like I did. I never wrote down how much you get for one step of the recipe because I always do it in bulk at random values. Also worth noting, I've read that you can sub in juice or sauce for the syrup, but I've never actually done it that way myself so I didn't include it. I mostly use gelatin to make fruit bars, but you should be able to use it in a bunch of different things. Pies immediately come to mind, but I can't remember the full list.
Weeviljester Posted May 8, 2024 Report Posted May 8, 2024 Reported this on the mod post as well, but I've got this bug where no matter what ingredients I use, it outputs generic fruit bread with no ingredient information. Then if I apply syrup, the entire bread is invisible and all I can see is the syrup swirl.

Chiseltools' decorative oven and Decor Bazaar's ovens will not work with this mod.

Dilan Rona Posted May 11, 2024 Report Posted May 11, 2024 Bug report for Expanded Foods 1.6.9. Drinking SoulStorm slop results in the client being forcefully disconnected, and the player dying instantly. Rejoining the game results in the person that drank the SoulStorm Slop to be completely invisible to the other players. Refined SoulStorm Slop drops as an item, and does not get picked up in a bottle. Dont see any particular effect other than hearing pain from the character. Tested it twice with me and another player. Same effect for us both.
Dilan Rona Posted May 12, 2024 Report Posted May 12, 2024 figured out a workaround for the refined SoulStorm slop. taking it as items, and placing it back in the saucepan allows me to scoop it up in a bottle, then its to the distillery, and i got a perfect batch of SoulStorm Brew.

If you have Ancient Tools installed, you can also grind certain wood bark for flour as well.
Fatigue Posted May 24, 2024 Report Posted May 24, 2024 (edited) Hey there, we're playing on the ResurganceRP server and someone joined and is having an issue- They seem to crash whenever anything from Expanded Foods / A Culinary Artillery is held in someone's hands. I'm not sure exactly what could be causing this; they've done a full wipe of the game, their appdata and even updated their version of .NET Framework to see if they can get around the problem, but there's no luck. Maybe this stacktrace will mean more to someone that knows the codebase. highhi byebye Posted June 5, 2024 Report Posted June 5, 2024 I'm wondering why if I put in a cranberry gelatin into a fruit bread that it loses its 3+ hp from the meal, I know the original berry bread that had gelatin, and then syrup added to it then you got 10 hp (From the front page of this forum on berry bread), but the fruit bread I have is only .75 hp, with syrup AND gelatin, which I would figure would be at least 3.75 hp+? Notice it doesn't specify the ingredients in it like the original berry bread does, so maybe that's it but
highhi byebye Posted June 6, 2024 Report Posted June 6, 2024 (edited) So I'm returning after not playing for a few years, and the new expanded stuff such as the eggs are a bit different, but am I doing something wrong trying to add flour, egg yolk, and water together for soft dough (in the same ratio as in the image)? Was it supposed to be the full egg or something because it wont make dough in the mixing bowl? Im on 1.19x for both game and mod Found what I was doing wrong, thought it was just a yolk not the full egg Edited June 8, 2024 by highhi byebye solved
