woo clap Posted January 27, 2025 Report Posted January 27, 2025 (edited) Is there any chance for an option to disable the healing in general? The mod is amazing but the hard coded healing on most items makes hardcore playthroughs a lot less challenging. Edited January 27, 2025 by woo clap
HandsomelyJack Posted January 30, 2025 Report Posted January 30, 2025 (edited) Am I missing something ? 6L x 4 water is not cooking into lime.(I've looked everywhere for this recipe and cant find the original mod that enables cooking water into lime, since this is related with cooking I'm assuming it comes from Expanded foods Even though its not in the main page saying itsa feature.). Edited February 1, 2025 by HandsomelyJack More info.
MrDbaggy Posted February 5, 2025 Report Posted February 5, 2025 Does anyone know how the spile works? I just attach it to a maple tree with a bucket underneath to collect sap? Does it work in winter? I've been having trouble getting it to work at all.
linker_error Posted February 8, 2025 Report Posted February 8, 2025 So, I installed this mod and we started a new game with it. For some reason, all our campfire food is coming out 'charred'. Does anyone know why that is?
Taigha Posted February 9, 2025 Report Posted February 9, 2025 Having a hard time getting any flax oil, any idea what I'm doing wrong?

Yes, in order to cook food perfectly you need to bake it in the oven or boil it in the saucepan/cauldron. On 2/4/2025 at 10:14 PM, MrDbaggy said: Does anyone know how the spile works? Check the handbook guide for A Culinary Artillery and you'll see the months they're active. I've never messed with lime like that. Do you have other mods installed?
HandsomelyJack Posted February 15, 2025 Report Posted February 15, 2025 @l33tmaanYou can ignore my issue, it was a Xskills "Desalinate - Skill" disguised as a cooking recipe.

Falco Posted March 1, 2025 Report Posted March 1, 2025 (edited) @l33tmaan Can't make Au Gratin. Other recipes, like salad work fine. Also issues are disabled on the github page. Maybe it'd be wise do open them, because forums aren't very good for tracking issues. Edited March 1, 2025 by Falco
Jewsuph Posted March 4, 2025 Report Posted March 4, 2025 So I've gotta be missing something, but I've been trying to figure out how to get the fat cooked into lard, used charcoal for higher heat, made sure the math added up for the recipe (.2 water for every 1 lump of fat), and used various amounts and all 3 diff tools to try and get this to work, but the bar never fills and its always too cold. Someone please just tell me there's like a lid or some switch im missing or something lol. Im on 1.7.3

Dax Piaints Posted March 7, 2025 Report Posted March 7, 2025 it says there's a way to turn dry flax mash into vinegar with water in a barrel, but when attempted to do so it doesn't seal it. Am I doing smthn wrong? I have a stack of 10 dry flax mash ://
Furret Posted March 8, 2025 Report Posted March 8, 2025 (edited) @l33tmaan Hello I made an issue report on the Github, not assuming you don't check it just letting you know since its pretty abusable. (I typed the whole thing out before realizing you sent a message to the issue page on Github 2 messages above) Edited March 8, 2025 by Furret
Requiem3 Posted March 11, 2025 Report Posted March 11, 2025 (edited) I'm not able to brew refined soulstorm slop into the distillery. I figured it was a ratio thing but am currently at 10l of refined soulstorm slop and it still won't let me put it into the distillery. Does it need to be bumped up to 30l or is this a glitch? Thanks. Also, I have been in love with the mod and my server of friends have enjoyed it so much too. I've spent countless hours playing around with food and gathering resources for more, it's insanely fun. We're looking forward to any sort of food updates like hamburgers, hotdogs, lobster, and so much more if able. I think my biggest gripe right now is both kneading and powered mixing bowl are capped at 3l for liquids and 12 units for food. This was perfect early game, but with a server of nearly 12 people the resources we have accumulated have exponentially grown in year 4. An upgrade to the powered mixing bowl or a larger kneading bowl would be a great addition to the game considering we have the same for liquids with the small and large cauldrons. Thanks for reading! EDIT: after 3-4 hours messing around with soulbrew, it took me going back a few pages in the form and having to ctrl+f "soulstorm" to find the solution. Since the ref soulstorm slop is a food item and not a liquid, you need to put it in the cauldron or pot slots, then pick it up with a bucket, and THEN use the bucket on the distillery. This SERIOUSLY should be in the description somewhere, considering it's been over a year that soulstorm brew has been implemented. Edited March 11, 2025 by Requiem3 1
Veronica Powell Posted March 12, 2025 Report Posted March 12, 2025 so is "bag of flour" an artifact of time and icon changes or is it a different thing than a 'piece' of flour? also while I'm here: LOOOVE THESE MODS!
Knotz Posted March 13, 2025 Report Posted March 13, 2025 There is a bug I've encountered with alcohol. Rice Flour and Water in a barrel mixes into Sake which replaces Rice Ale. If you distill Sake it becomes Sake but keeps the texture of Aqua Vitae. If you place Sake in a cauldron it becomes Rice Ale. In the handbook it mentions that to make aged Sake you need to cure Rice Ale but, there is no way to make Rice Ale. You cannot mix distilled Sake with regular Sake
Ashley Hall Posted March 14, 2025 Report Posted March 14, 2025 yo, opening the fish slop recipe in the handbook crashes the game, because of a missing item in the recipe. My playthrough is heavily modded tho, so it could be something else, but i think this is what adds it, correct?
Floofers Posted March 14, 2025 Report Posted March 14, 2025 Love this mod, but I have one simple request, the dried seeds mesh could be used for different flours mixes (usually mixed with normal flours for taste) easily. I've been to places that use cold presses for all kinds of seeds, pumpkin ones included and lemme tell you, that stuff is great for making seed dough mixes for pastas or even snacking on, on their own! Description says not too appetising, but having crunched on it myself, I couldn't disagree more
A3 Digital Posted March 17, 2025 Report Posted March 17, 2025 Without editting the config files, is there any way to speed up wine curing into strong wine?
Dilan Rona Posted March 17, 2025 Report Posted March 17, 2025 Wasn't there an option to cook part baked meat in the cauldron? cause I was sure that I was able to do that before 1.20.

Not that I've seen. I was looking for anything that would speed up that process too, like a modded container that increases curing speed but haven't had much luck. Going from Ale -> Vintage Whiskey takes a bit too long, especially if you are letting your ale cure all the way so distilling gives the most whiskey. Waiting 140 days just so for it to take another 42 days (without anything interrupting or slowing the process), and that is just from Ale to Stong Ale! I think my initial assessment of 1540 in-game days is way off, I didn't take into account the time it takes to cure AFTER the days until it starts to cure passes. Something that uses temporal gears to speed the curing process would be a good lore-friendly way of doing it, like an aging barrel hooked up to a temporal gear somehow. Dilan Rona Posted March 19, 2025 Report Posted March 19, 2025 @DrBossWatson Is is. But I wanted to make part baked meat in a cauldron as well.
