Hi, I've got a question.

Is it possible to rotate fence gates/doors to open them to other direction? I want it to open outside but it still opens inside.

Have you tried placing them from the opposite side?

Yes. It still opens one way

I just tried with a door. If I move myself, I can change the opening direction. The door seems to always open to "my" outside.

Ok, so I checked on creative mode. Doors works fine, but fence gates have that issue. Do you think its a bug?

I'm not 100% on this, but I'm pretty sure gates  open to the North or West, depending on orientation. It's likely coded that way.

Still a thing. Kinda disappointing, since I'm using gates as openable windows.

yeah im trying to do the same thing, pretty unfortunate maybe they'll make a change down the road or atleast hopefully.

If you make a double-door, using 2 doors, you can change the orientation of the door. Breaking the unwanted door leaves the wanted door in the orientation it was in double-door status! Make sure you put the second door on the side that you want the handle to be on!

Used these doors cause they show direction easier. Left is default placement, middle is double doors, right is after making the double doors and removing the extra one. Hope this makes sense!
