MishelX_X
I have a problem or error with clay. For example, I created a crucible, I bring it to the fire, and it tells me that it is cold and not suitable for the furnace. Is this a bug?

Streetwind
That's not a bug, then, that's intentional. You can no longer fire pottery in a firepit. You need to use a pit kiln. I haven't tried it out yet, so I can't tell you how they work. Maybe someone else can chime in. Or perhaps you can find it in the handbook, or in the release notes. Denesta
You put the pottery in a 1x1x1 hole then put in dried grass, sticks, and firewood in that order. Then light it up. It seems to be broken at the moment though. Once it's done burning the pottery is gone and you are just left with an empty hole. Looking that the issue tracker it should be fixed in pre11 maybe. Sometimes you get the item, sometimes the pit ends empty. In this case, you still can switch to creative mode to fetch the item(s) you should have retrieved if the process was not buggy.
