Sengorn_Leopard Posted August 3, 2021 Report Posted August 3, 2021 Rather than a 'block breaking' animation applied to wood, the chisels 'sub block' mechanic is taken advantage of and there is an animation of logs having increasingly deeper gashes put into them by the axe. Just an aesthetic change, nothing different about blocks 'healing' when you stop hitting them. 6
Silent Shadow Posted August 6, 2021 Report Posted August 6, 2021 The way the game Eco does it is pretty cool. You chop the tree and it falls down (your character even yells "timber!"). From there you have to cut the branches off and then cut it into segments to put in your inventory. 2
Maelstrom Posted August 6, 2021 Report Posted August 6, 2021 Hrmmm... Not sure more realism is needed on this one, UNLESS chopping down all trees results in a uniform time to chop (which should be shorter since you're chopping logs instead of the tree).
