TristamIzumi Posted August 31, 2021 Report Posted August 31, 2021 Yes, I've played a LAN co-op world with a friend who was staying with me for a while, I started a single player world and then "Open to LAN" for him to join.

I used my sister's account for a week or so, trying to figure out if I wanted to buy the game or not. We were unable to do a LAN co-op from the same account (which we'd figured would be the case, but I just thought I'd throw that out there.)
