Peter Berry Posted May 10, 2019 Report Posted May 10, 2019 Can I just sat what an excellent game, I came across it by pure chance on a Linux forum, I have played Minecraft since day 1, but this game is so much better. It seems a lot more challenging and not as "childish" if thats correct word. Regards Peter
Tyron Posted May 10, 2019 Report Posted May 10, 2019 Glad to hear that you enjoy the game! It was indeed particularly aimed at somewhat older audiences, as I'm a veteran minecraft player myself
Peter Berry Posted May 10, 2019 Author Report Posted May 10, 2019 I have been gaming since the Atari 400 and ZX81, that's how old I am. It's a lot more involved than Minecraft, I have worked out how to backup the save games so it's easier to reload if I get killed which has happened a lot. It's a steep learning curve. Well worth the money.
Epihnea Posted May 10, 2019 Report Posted May 10, 2019 i'm 100% agree with , Peter , The game is Very Challenging and forces you to think as in real Life i.e for the charcoal ^^ , The nature is very Hard , Mistakes are not permitted !! Also the Game Runs perfectly without soaking up all pc ressources !! The Game have also Modding which is very good and i might be interested In also to learn haha who knows !!
dakko Posted May 10, 2019 Report Posted May 10, 2019 I agree too! Also it has an appeal for adults that side-eyed MC due to the childish graphics and never played it. I think there is a huge untapped market there.
DasTebbers Posted May 15, 2019 Report Posted May 15, 2019 Yeah. Graphically, I couldn't do mc without a texture pack, and this just looks nice on its own. Crafting styles with clay and knapping are a nice change for sure.
