I believe you can just pour water from the bucket into a chiseled block like normally into an empty space or into a barrel

Ok so if there would be a change to berries somewhere in the future the early game food source/gathering things might come like some stuff from primitive survival for example - worms, crabs, snakes - fish traps, hooks and lines etc. And that is if youre starting in temperate/warm climate where there are actually berries around As my last playthrough I finally started in hot climate and the beginning was so different. Instead of munching on berries at the start and filling my fruit bar mostly (with protein from meat along the way) starting in the hot climate i used to only fill up my protein meter at the start - termites baby! As to the eadible things we could add for the start of the game, those that you can forage early - from pine you could get pine nuts out of pinecones with a knife for example - for some protein. Or if you could get pine needles somehow you could cook them in the pot with some water for some nice "tea" - its well known survival drink. Some other stuff could be walnut tree actually giving nuts you can eat and maybe adding hazelnut trees aswell. We already have thatch, papyrus and reed roots you can cook and east as a vegetable - maybe adding some more roots like that - for example lily roots might be edible. Thats all i can think of atm but there are probably sooo many other stuff possible

I believe taming wolves is on the road map but when it may come - who knows. But alas you cannot tame them for now you can still try catching the wild wolf pups with a reed basket trap - put fresh meat as trap

Damn good to know what to expect then

I second this! Leather armor when you get to making leather is imo the best to just put on and run explore stuff. Like DejFidoff said is has no negative stats like -speed ir - healing and for the stuff you can encounter on the surface (weak drifters, wolves even bears) it helps mitigate dmg to the point its not an issue anymore. That said i havent played any 1.20 prerealeses so maybe the new mobs chage that to a degree.

If you till the soil and dont plant any seeds each day/night there is a chance something will grow on it - 90+ percent (dont remember the exact %) chance it will be grass but there is a small chance it will be horsetail. But i think thats all there is - i dont believe you can get anything else that way. At least for the moment

The skull is simply awesome! Floor tiles are great aswell might steal some ideas

Anyone else find this in their world?
Grummsh replied to Spero's topic in Videos, Art or Screenshots
Yeah i think thats how the game works - im currently trying a water world challenge were i have: Landcover: 10% Landcover Scale: 10% Upheaval Rate: 10% Landform Scale: 300% and you most likely will spawn in the water - the game plonks some planks you can stand on right on you then -
Gotta love the CSI work right here

Doors never auto-close in vanilla - either you had a mod in your single player game that does that or you dreamt it i donno

Yeah was wondering the same - kinda reminds me of a power pylon? Also Great work man! Everything looks great! I love the medieval style wooden poop walkway/balcony -
Aye I have encountered plenty stuck wolves and bears in my games. Always funny even though a little bit scary at first

Can I ask whats the roof? Some mod or? Also are those berry bushes up there? I never thought of that looks cool

I can't bear it anymore. How to keep agressive animals out?
Grummsh replied to Flying_Fan's topic in Questions
Also a good tip to dealing with those pesk bears/wolves from my playthroughs, i call it the MURDER HIGHWAY! - 1st PATHS - make some and make a 2 or 3 wide "highway" next to your house. It doesnt take much to do it just need dirt and whatever stones are in your area. On the path you can easily outrun every animal - 2nd make a wall or use outside wall of your house and place couple of tool racks (only sticks needed for that) - 3rd craft looooots of flint spears and put them on those toolracks So now you probably see the strategy is pretty simple - i there are some wolves/bears spawning or wandering close to your humble abode - just pick all the spears and the you can use your "highway" to throw spears and run in and out quickly. I never had a bear or otherwise even touch me that way Hope this helps someone -
To answer just scroll down full patchnotes and You can find: Added behive kiln: Allows you to fire up to 27 full blocks worth of clay wares at once. Allows you to fire bricks in 4 different colors by adjusting the level of ventilation the kiln receives Added red clay deposits, and item. Red clay is now the most common clay deposit. Blue clay no longer spawns at higher altitudes. Fire clay is now only found below coal deposits or crafted from blue clay and flint. Added a huge amount of variety of bricks with different sizes, patterns and colors Peat piles and firewood piles can now be ignited like coal piles, which can now be used to fire the new beehive kiln Also: Tweak: Added four sets of ruins-only brick

Does anybody know anything about termites on a stick???
Grummsh replied to Mang Wangler's topic in Discussion
Dont know about the stick but in 1.20 patchnotes there is a line saying termite mounds wont break but instead become dormant or something and repopulate (so you can get another batch of termites) within a year. Maybe they will still implement the termite on a stick in the future who knows - like grilled termite skewers or something -
Hoping we can someday tame and ride the creature If you know you know

I guess ill just post a video which helped me understand how it all works from a while back - cant go wrong with Papa Cheddar:

Well for the arrow part you can still use crude arrows - they arent very good but you dont need feathers to craft them.

Id say still couple of months but yeah when its ready is a good answer
