  1. Yeah i think thats how the game works - im currently trying a water world challenge were i have: Landcover: 10% Landcover Scale: 10% Upheaval Rate: 10% Landform Scale: 300% and you most likely will spawn in the water - the game plonks some planks you can stand on right on you then
  2. Gotta love the CSI work right here
  3. Doors never auto-close in vanilla - either you had a mod in your single player game that does that or you dreamt it i donno
  4. Waaaaait, did he hit himself with a rock?
  5. There are plenty good souls here actiove and ready to help or discuss all the thing VS i love it Check near water and sand - kinda obvious but usually were i typically spot clay first.
  6. Yeah was wondering the same - kinda reminds me of a power pylon? Also Great work man! Everything looks great! I love the medieval style wooden poop walkway/balcony

    Buggy Bear

Aye I have encountered plenty stuck wolves and bears in my games. Always funny even though a little bit scary at first
  8. Can I ask whats the roof? Some mod or? Also are those berry bushes up there? I never thought of that looks cool
  9. Also a good tip to dealing with those pesk bears/wolves from my playthroughs, i call it the MURDER HIGHWAY! - 1st PATHS - make some and make a 2 or 3 wide "highway" next to your house. It doesnt take much to do it just need dirt and whatever stones are in your area. On the path you can easily outrun every animal - 2nd make a wall or use outside wall of your house and place couple of tool racks (only sticks needed for that) - 3rd craft looooots of flint spears and put them on those toolracks So now you probably see the strategy is pretty simple - i there are some wolves/bears spawning or wandering close to your humble abode - just pick all the spears and the you can use your "highway" to throw spears and run in and out quickly. I never had a bear or otherwise even touch me that way Hope this helps someone
  10. To answer just scroll down full patchnotes and You can find: Added behive kiln: Allows you to fire up to 27 full blocks worth of clay wares at once. Allows you to fire bricks in 4 different colors by adjusting the level of ventilation the kiln receives Added red clay deposits, and item. Red clay is now the most common clay deposit. Blue clay no longer spawns at higher altitudes. Fire clay is now only found below coal deposits or crafted from blue clay and flint. Added a huge amount of variety of bricks with different sizes, patterns and colors Peat piles and firewood piles can now be ignited like coal piles, which can now be used to fire the new beehive kiln Also: Tweak: Added four sets of ruins-only brick
  11. Wow all the work that must have gone into all the chiseling! Simply amazing!
  12. Well that would be cool too i guess but i mean:
  13. Dont know about the stick but in 1.20 patchnotes there is a line saying termite mounds wont break but instead become dormant or something and repopulate (so you can get another batch of termites) within a year. Maybe they will still implement the termite on a stick in the future who knows - like grilled termite skewers or something
  14. Hoping we can someday tame and ride the creature If you know you know
  15. I guess ill just post a video which helped me understand how it all works from a while back - cant go wrong with Papa Cheddar:
  16. Well for the arrow part you can still use crude arrows - they arent very good but you dont need feathers to craft them.
  17. Id say still couple of months but yeah when its ready is a good answer
  18. Id like the idea of a buff called "sugar rush" when you can for example move faster But looking at my kid here when he eats sweets i guess after some in game time the buff should instead change to a debuff called "sugar withdrawl" or something when for a while you move slowly, cant sprint and cant use tools
  19. In the Vanilla game its not yet available - they will in the next patch probably but its still couple months probably. There are mods though you can check like 'The joy of sailling' for example.
  20. I think any solid block is ok stone, dirt, wood doesnt matter. Make whatever you like
  21. Yeah try heading south and look around bodies of water - i tend to find medium fert soil even in hot southern regions near water GL!
  22. Ahhh thanks man got it
  23. Ok so just a quick question as i played with generators in minecraft looooong time ago but never did one is Vintage Story before - can this be done in survival game or only in creative mode? Is there a way to transport lava? Can you simply get it in my wooden bucket (id guess not but you never know)?

    Grinding

Well the game plays like normally - time passes etc - you could get attacked if youre grinding outside. He just means you can kinda abuse it by putting full quern of something pressing mouse button to start grind then while still pressing mouse button alttabing. When alttabed you can release the mouse button and do other stuff in windows etc, watch youtube whatever meanwhile the tabed game is still going and quern is still grindig .
  25. Wow! This is breathtaking! Sooo much inspiration aswell - surely gonna steal some ideas
