  1. I think this is a cool idea but VS is in my opinion not the right game for it, or it would have to be a separate game mode. As someone who loves to build, I would hate it if every ten days creatures would spawn that could break blocks.
  2. I'm pretty sure 1.19 changed it so that pigs are now extremely aggressive and protective of their piglets. I might be wrong but I'm pretty sure this behaviour disappears after the third generation.
  3. For anyone reading this wondering the same question, I just found a hunter poncho in some ruins so I definitely can confirm that you can find class themed clothing in ruins.
  4. I don't know what anyone else thinks about the new ponytail model, but I really would like an option for it not to show when wearing a hood or cloak. I don't like how it looks like I have hair coming randomly out of the back of my full hood, though I do appreciate the added support for it showing with other headwear options. What does everyone else think?
  5. I've seen this texture before when invisible "stone rubble" blocks would generate in 1.18 translocator rooms. I assume this is Vintage Story's "pink-and-black checkerboard pattern" texture equivalent as it seems to be the default for any block that is missing it's texture.
  6. I was exploring some underground ruins, and found a barracks type ruin containing a Blackguard pin and Blackguard shoes. I am playing as a Commoner. Does anyone know if it's possible to get other class exclusive clothing from ruins too? Thanks!!
  7. Currently, the two weapons that the player can craft are the Falx and the spear. But there are also special "ruined weapons" that can be found in the Archives. These weapons have unique appearances, but are in a state of severe disrepair, looking broken and have only around 15 durability. I suggest the idea that by crafting a ruined weapon with parchment, much like how the glider schematic is duplicated, the player is able to create a schematic for that type of weapon, which when used allows for them to forge their own versions. (Attached is an idea of the crafting recipe using a ruined sabre.) This would be a creative way to incentivise keeping an eye out for these ruined weapons, and a way to bring them back to life, which is fun for fashion or roleplay, as well as potential future combat overhaul purposes if such an overhaul is ever implemented. If there was to be a full combat overhaul, I also had the idea of Falxs being replaced by basic swords as a weapon that the player can craft without any schematics. Swords do less damage against drifters and more damage against living creatures, and Falxs do bonus to drifters but less to living creatures. The Falx schematic could be found in underground ruins or in the Archives, acting as an upgrade to the sword, but with the tradeoff of being less effective on non-drifter creatures. These were just some random ideas I had, and I thought it could be fun to post them to the suggestions topic of the forums. Stay safe out there, Seraphs!
  8. What is this place? It looks like ruins but is made out of smooth sandstone instead of cobbled sandstone and also has some moss like normal ruins. I have excavated it and this seems to be as deep as it goes. I'm just curious as to if this is natural or not. Pictures:
