Hello everyone. I know Vintage story has its chiseling mechanics and also much more blocks to choose form to make a hous elook better. I however went ahead and built my favorite house i usually always build in minecraft ever since i saw the tutorial nearly 15 years ago. It isnt an exact recreation and the color scheme might be different than the video but i kinda like it thi s way. Is there a chance that the temporal stability in my area will change to "normal" after a few days? I settled down in a very nice area and now my sanity keep spiraling downwards. I have to run approx. 5-6 minutes in either east or west direction to gain some sanity again. I dont know if this means a storm is coming but i really do not want to move all my stuff elsewehre right now.

iIt works. However only when you throw spears. You cant poke em in water. But if you corner them and approch from behind just chuck a spear of your choice and its a one hit kill

So technically i could just spear fish all the Fish i see roaming around and wouldnt run into issues of starvin g the lake?

What i try to do is on day1, run around gather reeds enough to make 4 hand baskets. (ideally also have enough reeds to make a storage basket as well) Gathering all Flints and sticks as i go. Eat berries immediately and save up the shrooms that i can find. When settling down for a base or temporary base thats when i start cutting grass and making tools i might need. Axe, Knife, Hoe etc.

I read soimewhere that the largerthe lake the larger the fish population. Every now and then i could even spot some fish swimming around in lakes. As you can see here, next to my starter base theres a ton of Fish swimming around. Is this some kind of indicator that i can keep fishing this pond? This lake isnt very large and i already pulled out 5 Fish a while ago. I dont wanna overfish this place as its planmned as my emergency food bank
