  1. I'm digging through assets and I am trying to figure out whether projectiles, and other entities, can emit particles just like class: "BlockTorch" does. Can they? Really, all I'm looking for is if there is support in place already ...or if it'll take c# code to configure. (Disclaimer, I'm new to vs modding and have extremely limited knowledge on cs/c#) Any feedback would be appreciated!
  2. Okay, I've gotten more adjusted with the system, but It's still awkward to use at best (still not sure everything is intended to be the way it is). Tyron, it would be cool if I could 'tab-complete' coordinates that I am at or looking at and also an offset argument when pasting a selection. Controlling the anchor point for rotating a selection would also be appreciated, but I could live without it. All in all, don't get me wrong, I am very grateful for the amount of WE tools included. the amount of built in tools is such an awesome part of VS. I really want to make some incredible things, I just feel like there's a lot of extra effort to accomplish normally simple things in voxel editors, making things for VS feel tedious or discouraging.
  3. I'm trying to learn the world edit controls and I'm finding that there are a lot of things that are meant to make designing easier but tend to just be harder, which at first glance isn't a bug but now I am having a hard time imagining things are working as intended. In my example here I struggled to paste and rotate a wall at the position I wished it to be placed at. First off my selection did not change when I copied it and immediately placed it, yet the pasted selection was not aligned with the selection at all. It was diagonally offset from the start point of the selection which is very confusing. After moments of trial and error I have my pasted selection where I'd like it. I then go to rotate the selection 90 degrees and the target blocks of the selection rotate 90 degrees but also move upwards and are no longer my selection [see image below]. To make matters more troublesome it is difficult to determine what part of the selection is the anchor point for the rotation. Perhaps things are working as intended, but if that is the case there needs to be better documentation. I don't know how to make efficient use of these world edit tools right now and it's quite discouraging to say the least. What should take seconds to do ends up being several trial and error attempts with little understood by the time I've finally done what I've set out to do.
  4. You could just open the map with (m) and then right click + create the waypoint. It's not that horrible of a process.
