  1. The video from #9391 is exactly it. See??? I'm not going crazy! I am running 1.22.3.
  2. Yes, and I tried it the deliberately wrong way as a sanity check and got the same result. I may have gotten unlucky with wind at that instant, but it definitely only started to move again the instant I broke one of the spur gears. Using the typical 2x big gear setup worked fine however.
  3. It seems that these don't let you combine power from rotors into a single axle, it jams up. I think that means it doesn't work as a replacement for the necessary step-down, step-up setup to have more than 1 windmill on the same axle.
  4. That's a good one!
  5. I wanna say, thanks for making mechanical power easier to build out with the axle recipe that uses seed oil. Hunting for the fat for axles has been one of the most unnecessarily grindy aspects of the game I've experienced so far. That said the quantity necessary is so low that it pushes the balance closer towards the "zero effort" side of things and could use some rebalancing, perhaps by a recipe for untreated axles which are then sealed in oil to impregnate them.

  7. I have had this same thought. Could be less expensive to have a chance of any seed automatically planting itself, without the option of reclaiming the seed if you break the planting.
