  1. idiomcritter is right: A saw actually works. You hit it with it, though. And it only drops the 1 log tile.
  2. Oh, wow. I wasn't aware. I just created a candle in the pot and didn't think much of it. Thanks a lot! PS: I envy your sharp eye! For me that little difference in texture on the pot is hard to see.
  3. Haven't seen this behaviour yet. I am on 1.22.2 (vanilla) and just completed some smithing, i.e. copper plates and nails&Strips. For me it works as you describe and is expected: After the last cut of voxel, the item just pops into inventory (and might get thrown with an "ouch" if you don't use tongs )
  4. I checked the recipes in the handbook, checked with YT videos and read the https://wiki.vintagestory.at/Jam page. Am I missing something? I always get "No matching recipe found". I tested with other fruits, too. And with a single recipe (0.2l Honey, 0.2l Honey, 1 Blueberry, 2 Blueberry). I already checked the issue tracker but found no bug report. Can someone verify that this works or is broken. If this is indeed broken, I will create a bug report. PS: I know jam is not very popular This is basically Vanilla V1.22.2
  5. I am only here for the snow shovel But holy shit! This is an incredible update. Danke an das ganze Team von Vintage Story.

  7. Great Minis! Especially love Stone Henge and sand castle!
  8. It is literally what I was looking for: "At least some sort of quicksave mechanism (1-3 slots), just in case something goes awry." > if you know more about the command or the games autosave feature in general i'd be happy to read about it Simply used the ingame help to find this command. Know nothing more about it. Might be something in the mod section though. There are a few world APIs that are helpful in saving custom data, etc.
  9. HA! Vintage Story already has the command /autosavenow So there you go! Thanks for nothing, I guess?!
  10. I feel you
  11. Just wanted to throw my support in, too. Have used the HP Reverb G2 now (WMR), and VR for VS was the first thing I thought of. I can't even imagine how how hard it is to get VR into the game, though. Obviously I think WMR Support should be the way to go
  12. This sounds good. I guess most people would only need some sort of "Quick" save. Loading is (as Hal13 already said) not as important, because dying is not such a big issue in VS. I might just work myself into modding... I am a developer after all. I do wonder though if this is a mod that many people would like to see? Feedback appreciated
  13. I do have a SaveGame, I can load this, can duplicate it, can copy it. It is a persisted world, which is basically a save game. A DB backup is basically a SaveGame IMHO. There is no technical reason why this is not integrated into the single-player mode of the game. I also think this could be integrated into a mod. Unless the reasoning is: This is a multi-player game and we do not want to put any effort into the rudimentary single-player part. It is not something I myself want, actually. But I keep getting questions regarding this in my stream from chatters (dKrisch TTV).
  14. I wonder why I haven't found this on the forums!? Why is there no simple saving and loading mechanism? I have the feeling this topic must have been discussed already, but I didn't find it. At least some sort of quicksave mechanism (1-3 slots), just in case something goes awry. I can always use the windows explorer to manually make copies of the save game, I guess?
  15. Any progress on that? Not to be pushy, I simply love statistics Also I'd like to suggest something that represents tech progression (stone age, copper age, iron age, ect).
