Probably gonna get a lot of blow back for this suggestion. Don't die! As in figure out what you need to do to keep from dying in the first place. Assess the situation, are you equipped to handle the opponents? If not, better to run away to fight another day. I've done that countless times when spelunking in battle jammies or nekkid and hear that wonderful bell. Whoops, don't have ladders with me. Welp, gonna have to come back before caving down that death hole. If you don't die there's no respawn and no running around nekkid.

man why are there ALWAYS wolves/bears camping valuable traders
Maelstrom replied to Wagnerbaum's topic in Discussion
Well, the trader may not like you killing his pets and guard aminals all the time. jk. Trader must be located near a spawn point for those critters. -
What if the rust is not natural but a result of the rot's effect on metal? Thereby making it impossible to "clean".

Indeed!

Trilobites, jelly fish, anemones to start... Sea horses, barracuda (aka wolf of the sea), crabs, lobsters and giant clams. OH! squid, like KRAKEN type squid. And lastly, the mighty clown fish! coz the anemones get lonely if the clown fish aren't around.

Additional Astronomical Events besides Eclipses?!

The identified mod can have meteors crash into the area. Be careful as the holes they create a quite large. -
Best way to get farming going early and quickly.

I've never tried breeding rabbits. Only going off of what others have said. Honestly, if rabbit harvesting is desired, building a rabbit trap is probably the quickest way to get rabbit stew.
-
This would also make it easier to get limestone for leather making. Especially in those vast granite areas that seem to end only after a three day journey one way.

Unless rabbit breeding has been updated in 1.19, breeding rabbits is... difficult. They do not breed like the other domesticated animals. About the only way to actually breed rabbits is to throw some food on the ground and hope that they will eat some before it despawns. Keep doing so until they mate.

^^^ THIS ^^^ is why I absolutely LOVE this game!!! @Thorfinn That is a terrifying idea! I love it!

I think they were before 1.16. So I might be one grass to much in my post, but that's the current cost.

Knife, firestarter and unlit torch. 2 flint to knap the knife blade 2 grass for torch and 1 for firestarter, 1 stick for knife, 1 for torch, 2 for the firestarter. So I was wrong. Short by 1 stick.

Indeed. VS has a STEEP learning curve. My first world was 1.14.10. I played in 6 different worlds before I was comfortable tackling the grind for winter food storage. 3 of those worlds didn't last beyond 2 or 3 days in game, the first didn't even make it much past that first pitch black night coz I didn't understand the importance of 3 grass, 3 sticks and 2 flint.

There's a couple of mods that will post ALL explored lands of a multiplayer map to a website.

I have never had this much trouble finding a specific ore. Yikes.

Last I checked changing the node search radius requires a relog. -

Ummmm... Sphalerite is nearly undetectable in granite. In darker rocks it is as painfully obvious. -
TOBG = Mincraft. I was referencing the Betweenlands mod specifically. That is the only mod that makes minecraft even marginally playable for me.

Consider that your comment I responded to is only 2 hours old (at the time I'm typing) and doesn't matter when the thread was created (I'm confused why you even bring age of the thread up). Additionally, you're first words (I play solo) in the comment I responded to dismissed the multiplayer aspect nor did any of your response seem to recognize that aspect of the previous comment. So it seemed to me that you hadn't understood what the prior poster had written and added a clarification which seems to have offended you. Since you seem easily offended I'll refrain from responding to your future comments.

stone spears. LOTS of stone spears (12 or so should do). when a storm comes, be in a flat area about 100 blocks in radius (less when you get better). Run around the perimeter when drifters spawn, they will form into a conga line. Run backwards and heave spears at them (often called the Monty Python Maneuver). When you run out of spears, circle round collect the spears and repeat. Believe it or not, you can sprint through drifters without taking damage, so long as they don't start their attack before you are running through them. I have taken out double headed drifters sans any armor this way.

The special coding isn't for overall game balancing purposes, but specifically to balance multiplayer games. And that's just how the game is at this time; like it, lump it or leave it.
