A week ago or so I logged into a server and had about 2-3 minutes of lag. Didn't realize I was lagging until all of my maneuvering to dig up 30 or 40 blocks of gravel launched me into a montage of fast forward motion. It was really funny watching the drifters in high speed video as well.

Helve hammer placement is fine. There just isn't enough power output from the single sail on a single windmill rotor. Putting a full set of 5 sails on the windmill will help, but likely still have inactive mechanisms when wind strength is low. For highest power, make four windmill rotors and max out the sails to 5 each. Next build the windmill part 60 blocks above sea level. Doing this will keep your helve hammer running more consistently, but may still have some periods of slowness.

Not exactly. Flax fabric is a generic recipe and repairs clothes. Just not as much repair as sewing kits.

Frankly, I wouldn't want bog iron like surface copper. I actually love the difficulty in the base game and easy to find iron would dramatically decrease the challenge of the mid to late game eras.

Have you tried adjusting only the landform scale setting to see if that results in more desirable outcomes? I doubt the others would make any changes.

Correct. Bee HIVES do care about moisture. Too much (and I don't know what that level is) prevents bees from spawning. I am pretty sure I've seen bee hives in areas where rainfall is very common.

What likely happened was you started a fire of flammable material but extinguished it by placing the dirt block on the block that was on fire. It just took some time for the fire to actually go out.

From what I've seen about Vintage Story chicken behavior, it's best to keep them in a pit.

I can't think of any reason to have an autoclicker. What are you doing that requires it?

You forgot moose. If the mauling by the bears, wolves, drifters don't get you then there's the Moose Stomp and a lightning strike for the piece de resistance.

Additionally, backups can be made in game that creates a save in the backups folder with no need to manually move files around (unless a save has to be replaced by a backup).
