Instead of having a very temporary and in practice, not terribly useful pet locust, clockmakers could construct rideable gear spiders that have much greater durability (health) than elk but require a massive investment of resources in gears, metal and time forging a night vision helmet for its head and collecting Jonas parts. Sort of like what's in this pic but with the helmet for a face and a cluster of Jonas parts for a thorax.
I'd just like to see scorpions and some sort of burrowing threat, like a rust version of a sandworm or one of the graboids from Tremors. It doesn't have to break blocks just provide a nasty surprise popping out of the sand.
That's awesome. I'll have to test this for myself. I can't get wolf taming to play nice with my other 39 mods so I'll have to wait and see if the devs decide to make wolves tameable in the future.
I know taming of all animals is frequently requested but having a class that specifically gets bonuses to it and maybe the exclusive ability to tame more savage beasts would be an awesome addition.
The class could have something like raised animals produce more materials, raised animals have a slight health buff, raised mounts have a speed buff, a penalty to mining and ranged damage. A collar crafting recipe exclusive to the class.
