The picture provided is the result of my mistake, I assumed the actual blocks of peat wouldn't be flammable. I was so confused earlier when the ground was on fire for seemingly no reason but turned out this was the result.
I think the main problem with this is that adding more danger with homosapien mode in mind could end up making night too dangerous in the regular mode, especially since homosapien mode is meant to make the nights safer. only thing I could see with this is maybe an addition that tries to add some more danger to long distance travels as usually you can just outrun anything that could put you in danger.
on the weapon variety thing, that would definitely be something I want to see even if they were only slightly different. This is something that isn't even that hard but would be great for roleplay or just customization so everybody has their own type of weapon or style instead of just a spear or a bow for the entire playthrough.
I had thought that all the mushrooms that grew on trees were safe to eat so I just threw some into my stew to add extra saturation, turns out funeral bells aren't something you should use for a garnish.
While I don't particularly agree with this idea, the last bit isn't going to be affected as what he meant is that the posts would still be there to be read, just wouldn't be able to be commented on so it can still be checked for when your question has already been asked and answered.
as you see in the right of the example photo I have recently started putting 1 block gaps between ladders, it seemed like a convenient thing but I want to make sure that this is actually something I should be doing as I have seen plenty of videos of people not doing this. It would be great if it was just me being overly cautious.
