  1. It has been awhile, good to be back
  2. That is a terrifying realistic interpretation of that monster. Seriously I feel horrified, imagen in your base that thing pokes its ugly mug up, and just screams in your face as you scream back.
  3. Another Stained glass project that is a (wip) work in progress
  4. I love the design of the building it is very unique. It would stand out in a crowd of building. Like a supermarket you always will know where it is.
  5. Beautiful build the In asthenic is so good you guys did a great job. The glass work is the cherry on top I can Imagine the time it took for that.
  6. The Ant Warrior is really good
  7. In truth I don't remember however I had fun making it and that is worth remembering.
  8. Vintage Story is a wonderfully versatile game that allows the player to build anything that they have mind to build. From extravagant castles or cathedrals to simple starter houses that are made from anything that can be found. Vintage Story, however unlike other survival block games, has the chisel that allows the possibility of extremely detailed builds within a 16 by 16 by 16 voxel block of space. One of things that can be achieved is custom glass windows (Image 1) and stained glass windows as well (Image 2). However that is not all stained glass can do, this guide will explain various techniques and methods for stain glass builds for the community of Vintage Story to turn your stained glass builds into works of art and beyond (Image 3). The Basics of Stained Glass Blending Block That Can Be Used - In the game the blocks that currently are best used for stained glass are the full blocks of Red, Green, Blue, Yellow, Brown, Violet, Pink, Vintage, Quartz, Smoky, and Clear Glass Blocks. Their Half Variants also can be used in chiseling stained glass, However it will give the player half the material voxels to a full block (exactly 2,048 voxel in total if you wanted to know) perfect for survival players who want to save material. Another transparent block that can be used in stained glass is Lake Ice and Glacier Ice which are extremely versatile but overpowering too other stained glass colors (More on that in Spacing and Transparency). Mixing of Colors - Tip: Best way to understand blending colors in stained glass is to start with the primary colors of Red, Blue and Yellow and make their Secondary colors, example in (Image 4). All given values are the original block color are provided by Lawn on the (RBGA) Red, Blue, Green and Alpha (Quote). All excepted two blocks that are have transparency 30%. The working theory is 15% is equal to one face of a glass block or a panel this only possible when two differing types of glass panels are connected more about this with Panel Ratios. This also will effect the color produced when paired with additional stained glass. The exceptions are the Glacier Ice 70% and Lake Ice (30% < X < 70%) due to the their extreme opacity both will overpower all other colors when in a even ratio. Also pairing panels into section is very helpful in keeping track of the colors being used. (Images) Four pairs of Red and Blue Glass making purple sheet of glass. Spacing and Transparency - Stained Glass requires spacing in-between the planal for blending to be visible. (Image 5: has four pairs of panels all red stained glass or eight panels in total). Blending will Not occur if the spacing is occupied by any other block, glass especially (Images 6-7). The amount of panels will affect the transparency, (Image 6) one pair to two pairs of stained glass is still see through anything above two pairs is not visible. Only light sources or other colored glass can be seen through when three to four pairs are used (Image 8). Tip : If the desired transparency that a player wants to achieve is a cloudily murky light blue or white color Glacier Ice or Lake Ice are the ideal choice. Techniques: Constant Color-Stained Glass - Best used in even number of panels to produce a consistent color no matter the face front or back. To best achieve is too mirror the panels on the opposite side. Panel Ratios - (Working on) Holographic Stained Glass (Working on) - A technique that causes a designs or patterns to have more depth or the desired effect of a still image to have movement Blending of Light Blocks (Working On) Contributors, Cy9miner and Lawn
  9. You could put a Korok flower from Legend of Zelda botw somewhere in it just like game. But chiseled mushrooms would be better idea. "What brings you here"? "The Mushrooms!"
  10. In my opinion use logs for the corner like this, it is one favorite details to add to houses. Or you can do brick corners.
  11. This is Application a stained glass mural I have been working on when I have time. It uses every type of glass in the game to produce the varied colors on three frame base. Their are holographic panel`s (a technique were the first panel is a constant color like blue or yellow after the first panel and the second and third have varied colors stained glass.

@lawnLet me send you something it is a guide I been working on the blending of stained glass. Note it is incomplete and its the first iteration when its done I will post in the forums but I like the work and creativity you are showing and it will expand your repertoire of building techniques.
  13. For your Information this was going to be simple Tom and Jerry Build but it evolved into a new build that is perfect for October and Halloween. Haha You Can Guess What it is going to be.
  14. Dude that Circular Window is so flowery. The violent and blue stained glass make it beautiful

I don't know way but the mouse trap just sells it to me it feels like the place has activity be lived in and used. Like you could have not placed it their and it would still would be great build but with that little detail it has a story. haha I have I an idea for a new build I`m build a room with a mouse hole Tom and Jerry Style.
  16. @lawnFour is close it is in fact Six Layers. The six layer were used for with mostly Greens from artificial mixing (Yellow and Blue Stain were used to get a different green) and regular stained glass green with red and ice to give a whiter finish.
  17. @lawn Hey Dude I need thank you for letting me know about that applications of ice block in stained glass because of you I discover a depth to stained glass that is so versatile.
  18. Hey dude that is amazing. I didn`t even know their was ice can be used like that and now I have another thing to try. You used Blue for the edges to give depth to Ice for the most used in the Rose mural, and used the yellow stained glass to focus attention to the rose and if I`m not mistaken you did you add so red to the leaves to give a more character. Nice
  19. @7embre Yeah dude I can work on that. In mean time I can send you a picture of a template and a color palette from my experimentation that is pretty fresh of Greens and Purples.
  20. Here is Something By spacing the individual primary Colors planal you can produce their secondary colors and that the tip of what can be done. By combining two different color planal of glass or the same you can blend the colors to create new ones or more pronounced common colors. Then color can be blended more when pairing multiple sheets together. All within one 16 Voxel space of a block.
  21. That Knight Mural is great dude really I`m glad you had fun making that.
  22. Stained Glass is beautiful thing that Vintage Story does really well, however unlike other sandbox's the ability of chiseling allows some incredible possibilities. Been experimenting with the colored glass in my Creative Test World in the mixing of colors through layering glass planal. The maximum of layered sheets on a block is 8 Layer or 4 Pairs of color sheets. The window is using 2 pairing of colors sheets or 4 Layers using Blue Glass, Yellow Glass, Green Glass and little traces of Brown and Red Glass to produce a range of deeper and vibrant colors. The Colors you can make is Amazing even for simple looking window. I got carried away when building a wall to go with it.
