- Learn knapping stone/flint into tools - You don't have much inventory, so collect reed/papyrus and make baskets to have more space - Get some food to start, berries are a good source of food at the start of the game - Make a safe shelter, you can use dirt, packed/rammed earth and/or mud bricks - Start with pottery - making pots, molds, crucible and such from clay - Make a pit kiln to fire your clay stuff - beware! pit kiln spreads fire so make sure there are no flammable blocks nearby (also, rain can put out fire so cover it with a roof) - Make a fire pit to make charcoal for smelting copper - Try to find surface copper pieces - ALWAYS MARK THE PLACE ON YOUR MAP! You will thank yourself later, as there is almost always a deposit under those pieces - or try to pan for copper if you can't find any - make a wooden pan, right click some sand/gravel, jump into water and start panning - Make a pickaxe and hammer now you can start mining copper deposits and crushing them with hammer to make them smeltable - You will need at least 40 pieces (200 units) of copper - 20 pieces for a pickaxe and 20 for hammer - Make a prospecting pick, as with this you will be able to find places where certain ores are abundant - Make a forge and anvil so you can start making tools that are not castable (saw, spear, chisel etc.) from heated copper ingots That would be all up to the point of late copper age As for the 'playing with others' part, here is a guide for that; https://www.vintagestory.at/selfhosting/

He probably increased the power back to the level it was before adding the first wheel to combine the windmills, probably doesn't have space further down, though that is just my guess as I am not a genius at this so I may be wrong

Does anyone do anything out of these three metals (except for lining in case of gold and silver)? If so, what do you use them for? I usually just hoard them like the dragon I am Perhaps might build myself a cozy little cavern to hoard the ingots in... Also, I'm playing vanilla only, are there any mods that make them a necessity?

The definitely best way to find naturally generating fire clay is looking for black coal deposits, it spawns near it almost all the time (at the very least in my experience it did) Though I understand the amazement, I was also shocked at first seeing the myth alive

Not enough advertisement, most people who look at it see a cheap copy of minecraft and don't even bother to get to know this game (from my experience talking to people). Your guess is right, they do not always grow but are very likely to. Sometimes it happens but don't be alarmed if it does, it will catch up with the other crops soon. I also recommend using fertilizer, it speeds up the growing process quite nicely, especially if you do not have access to soil of better quality

Is it working just fine on other worlds? If so, the world files may be corrupted and something is interfering with the way the pick works Most bugs can also go away after just reloading the game, at least from my experience, like this hen being stuck in space-time continuum

I kinda like fighting them with spears, the shivers cant get close and I also don't get stabbed by the bowtorn's melee attack
