  1. Catch them all hahaha!
  2. I kinda like the idea of fishing, though i would love to see more 'fishing industrialization' in the future, similar to how you farm animals you could make ponds in which you raise fish and have a stable food source that can be great in some places where animals are hard to come by!
  3. That would be interesting, we already have titanium ore and such yeah, but i doubt we'll get that anytime soon
  4. Highlands will be the issue probably! I've only explored cold forests or tundras, thanks for the tip!
  5. If there are, I'd also like to know! Sounds like a fun addition!
  6. Where do elk spawn? I've yet to meet one
  7. Cool hat! We will watch your career with great interest
  8. How do you mean it that you're unable to stay with them too long? You can't find food or something in the same category? Or wander too far away, die without respawn point set and lose everything?
  9. Sometimes I've happened to find meteors not because of its circular shape but because of surface suevite stones. Look for those too!
  10. Perhaps too weak windmill, try adding fifth sail set. Helve hammer takes a LOT of power. Not sure what the minimal requirement is, but from my experience by the looks of it it should work just fine. Another idea i got is that perhaps the helve hammer requires rotation on the other side and gets stuck otherwise, though i'm not sure about it. Try changing the sides the helve hammer gets its power from and see if it works Edit: definitely weak windmill, noticed you have increased power because of the large gear, and thus need FAR more input. To put it to perspective (in my numbers lol, not precise), 4 sets of sails windmill gives 80 power. Helve hammer needs 30. BUT the increase of speed needs 5.5x MORE power, which is 165, and the 80 power gain from the 4-sail windmill is too low
  11. We're stuck with staircase or ladders for now. OR building a base high in the mountains
  12. Yeah i wasnt talking in precise numbers, thanks for the specification!
  13. Agreed! I hope something like that will be added in the future, as in you going there and once and for all clear up the source of the problem!

    Hi.

    Ello there stranger!
  15. Exactly. In winter it can drop to around 0.1x spoilage and in summer it can rise up to 0.3x, even in cellar. You're doing it right. If you want to make huge apocalypse supplies to last you years, cure meat and bake charred stuff. Yummy!
  16. I would like tools of higher tier to not have the "strings" holding the tool head, it looks too crude for lets say steel
  17. German engineering (and building) at its finest

    No fish?

Had to make this, the topic name reminded me of it
  19. I'm not sure how exactly this works, so i simply put wood planks around the water and carved them into a barrel. Also, the bottom is a wooden plank block instead of your normal floor. The downside is that despite its small size it takes up 3x3 blocks so you can't build directly next to it.
  20. Coal yes, clay doesn't show
  21. I'll be remembering the name of this mod, "Primitive survival". Thanks for the tip!
  22. I didn't even know that was possible, one more reason to love VS! I would try to relog, if that doesn't work it will just be easier to find new friend and slaughter them for their antlers kindly ask them if they would let you help with the weight they are carrying
  23. I believe you just keep passing it, there should be no such thing as world changing, that could create problems with player bases and such. Geological activity as a whole means more hot springs, lava and such in your world. But perhaps if you are using mods there may be one that is doing exactly what you described. As for searching for the translocator, I guess you can logically dismiss some places by remembering what kind of rock was around it and how deep it was etc, and just keep looking for it, I'm sure you'll eventually find it!
  24. You can recycle copper when you haven't crafted it into a tool head yet together with some non-tool items, such as plates, chains, lamellae, rods etc., by crafting it together with chisel like shown in this picture Or by smelting it in a bloomery Other than that there could be a mod for it, but I don't know much about mods as I am a pure vanilla player (yet)
  25. Underwater base goes brrr, looks great!
