paranoiq
hi, do crops actually grow in the wild or are they just generated in different grow stages and stay in that stage forever? i have marked a lot of crop patches to collect them later, but i do not see much progress. is it better to re-plant crops to tilled soil right away? Bumber
They do, but it can be very slow. (Might not happen while unloaded?) A tip I heard is that you can just till the soil below them without needing to break and replant.
Solution Maelstrom Posted September 14, 2023 Solution Report Share Posted September 14, 2023 Crops MAY grow, but it is at such a geologically slow pace that it's best to harvest the plant, hope for some seeds to plant and farm the seeds into a greatly increased harvest than waiting. As of 1.17 I will confirm (because I have done it) that tilling soil of wild crops will cause them to mature in a day (possibly even less). Be sure to protect against your new rabbit magnet filled with bunny sirens.
