hihiy1 Posted April 1, 2025 Report Posted April 1, 2025 I wish there was a way to pick up small animals like hens or piglets. I want to hold them they are so cute 2
Never Jhonsen Posted April 1, 2025 Report Posted April 1, 2025 I've said it on here a few times before, but as someone who used to have a few chickens, they were always fun to hold Some chickens really enjoy being held 3
Thorfinn Posted April 2, 2025 Report Posted April 2, 2025 Cool idea. Just imagine if you could also throw them! 4

Thorfinn Posted April 2, 2025 Report Posted April 2, 2025 Just to make sure no one misunderstands, I'm not the guy throwing baby chicks in the air. I'm the guy standing off to the side yelling, "Pull!"
Broccoli Clock Posted April 3, 2025 Report Posted April 3, 2025 This has me wondering, I've seen traders who buy wolf cubs, and I've seen traders who sell wolf cubs, is it possible to sell cubs you trap in reed baskets? I've only captured chickens and a piglet so far, although you can catch cubs, but it showed as the animal inside the basket, not as a separate item in your inventory. Or is it literally a 1 to 1 trade, buy a cub then sell a cub, and the cub acts like a normal inventory item.

Broccoli Clock Posted April 3, 2025 Report Posted April 3, 2025 Just now, Brady_The said: That's how it currently works. Thanks. Shame though, I thought I'd found a very lucrative, sustainable, trade. Makes me wonder what the point of capturing a cub is, wouldn't it just attack you as it grew older?

There is wolf taming on the road map but wolf cub trapping made into the game along with trapping chickens, etc. But for now it has no practical use - other then what i did in one of my worlds to have a wolf kinda pet I build an enclosure surrounded with 2 tall fence, then captured couple of wolf cubs and released them into the enclosure. Eventually they've grown up and i had a wolf enclosure in my base. 1
