Syrdiman Posted June 11, 2025 Report Posted June 11, 2025 I updated to 1.20.12 because I heard it was just a performance update. But now my base makes audio as if I’m underground constantly when I enter it. My world’s lighting also broke and everything went dark as if I’m underground. But the lighting was restored when daybreak occurred (I’m a year into the game). Do you think it’s safe to rollback to 1.20.11 or will I break my save?
Maelstrom Posted June 11, 2025 Report Posted June 11, 2025 It shouldn't be a problem to rollback like that.

But I appreciate ur response. I just wanna make sure if ur a dev. I just don’t wanna lose 50+ hours of my world because of a rollback.
Maelstrom Posted June 11, 2025 Report Posted June 11, 2025 Not a dev, just been around a while and have paid attention when those techie players show up. If you're concerned about corrupting a world, definitely make a back up first.

Even if you are not concerned about it.... Why not just roll back to the backup save you made of your world before updating to 1.20.12, @Syrdiman? 1
Dilan Rona Posted June 12, 2025 Report Posted June 12, 2025 Might want to look at this here, @Syrdiman. I had a similar situation where I had to roll back.
