That's all. It's just way too f'ing loud. Like, several times louder than any other song. Every day at noon for about an hour, I can't hear a thing because it's playing and DEMANDS TO LET ME KNOW. To avoid that, I have to either turn the music off altogether which makes me sad, or go mess with the settings dialog twice a day which is ridiculous.

It's not bad, but I'm trying to listen for wolf growls here.

I know there's a good soundtrack to this game, but I turned off the music immediately. Music is just distracting to me in a game like this. I want the immersion of the natural sounds of the world.

My issue is that, while the sound design is great, it’d be better if the wind sound depended on the environment, rather than just being constantly blowing.

I don't recall that it is constantly blowing. In my head, at least, its intensity is related to the wind level.

Yes, but it doesn’t care if you’re in a sheltered area where you shouldn’t be able to hear the wind; this is probably something that would get overhauled if windmills ever do, but whether or not that ever happens is up in the air.

You don't hear it if you're in a defined room, right? Do you hear it in caves?

I feel like this would bother me too, but I haven't noticed.

No and no, but it’s still weird that you hear the wind blowing, even if you’re inside of a forest, at full speed and volume; same with the rain, it’s bothersome that the only way to avoid it is to go hide in a hole. If that’s intended as a way to know when you’re inside, fine, but it’s still weird.

But that's my favorite track! 😕 That being said, I think it's probably a hard one to balance compared to the other tracks. It starts off very soft, so if it was turned down then it would be difficult to hear the first minute or so. However, if it's turned up to compensate then the percussion section can be quite jarring when it finally hits. The best option here might be to just add an option for the player to exclude certain tracks of music from playing entirely(at least, of the tracks that play on a regular basis--no excluding special tracks like boss music or location tracks).

What makes this track wonderful for casual listening, makes it suck for gameplay

Putting this song on the big TV and it sounds wonderful; but in game the audio balance needs to be leveled. Increase the loudness for the soft start, and decrease it for the main sections.
