Honeebunny Posted November 18, 2025 Report Posted November 18, 2025 So I've gotten to copper tools, and I'm trying to get granite rocks to make a quern. It's my first time trying myself, but I've watched other people do it, it seems simple enough- just break all the surrounding blocks, and it'll fall. Except, it doesn't. Am I blocked from ever getting a quern because I turned off block gravity when I made the world? Is it just a bug? Is it a mod conflict? I only have a few mods related to mobs, so I don't see why it would be, but who knows.
Vexxvididu Posted November 18, 2025 Report Posted November 18, 2025 I have block gravity off and it does not stop you from "relieving" rocks like this. What mods do you use?

The mods that I use are Entity Color Tint, Haz's jackalopes, fox taming, pet ai, feverstone horses, shearlib for wool&more, pet hare, cats, raccoon taming, and no lore creatures.
Solution Honeebunny Posted November 18, 2025 Author Solution Report Posted November 18, 2025 Never mind, I'm stupid/didn't understand I didn't realize the floating block also had to be mined, I thought it just popped off after the rest were, and thought mining the floating block would break it into stones. But it falls as stone after being mined.

That's what I thought too, but maybe the block has to be mined if all block gravity is disabled? I wouldn't know, as I've never disabled gravity entirely. 1

I play with block gravity disabled other than gravel and sand and that's how it worked for me.
Honeebunny Posted November 18, 2025 Author Report Posted November 18, 2025 Well, I'm glad reading these comments to at least know that I didn't misremember 1
