SoupInCat Posted February 17 Report Posted February 17 Please. Please I just want uninterrupted ocean for like atleast 5k blocks in radius. No matter what mods i use, no matter what config options i edit. Hours. So many hours. Nothing, nothing gets rid of the tiny landmasses that jut out of the ocean floor at random, in the middle of the ocean. I cannot escape them. They are the bane of my existence. Every single world is an island world because the islands never end. I’ll do anything please someone save me from this never ending island hell.
LadyWYT Posted February 17 Report Posted February 17 I'm not sure there is a way, currently. In order to get more water, you have to increase the ratio of water to land. You might try adjusting the Landcover Scale and Landform Scale to see if that helps, but otherwise I think the settings that produce oceans that are 5k or larger are going to result in small islands of land only, no real continents, at least at this point in the game's development.
Thorfinn Posted February 17 Report Posted February 17 You can get rid of the islands. It just takes a lot of pickaxes. There's almost certainly a way to do it in worldedit, but it's likely to be tedious repeating it as many times as you'd have to do it on anything above a minimum-sized world. You could try editing landforms.json and getting rid of anything that has "small islands" in the description. Or set the weight to something tiny, so they still exist, but are rare.
