Jed Rowahnn Posted February 26 Report Posted February 26 When you find lore books and add them to your journal, do they show up simply in the order you find them, or do they sort themselves into a chronological timeline of events when you have enough added? I'm super invested in the lore of the world and would love it if I could eventually read them all in order

There's kind of a chronological order they get arranged in, however, some of it is also left up to the player to figure out. By that I mean that lore books seem to always be added to the journal in a specific order, but the order in which they appear isn't necessarily by which was written first. Generally, the journal seems to try to keep multiple entries from the same author grouped together, and it's a similar case for subjects as well. Tapestries and carvings are entered in the order in which they are found, however, they also have numbers to indicate to the player which one is "first".
Maelstrom Posted February 26 Report Posted February 26 To further clarify: Individual journal entries within a collection willbe in chronological order, but different collections of journal entries will not be. It is up to the player to figure out the chronology of the journal collections in relation to each other. 2
Dark Thoughts Posted February 26 Report Posted February 26 I wish. I think the journal is generally pretty terrible. Can't tell the order, nor the proper entries or what you're missing even. You kinda have to manually keep track of everything by making sure to always sort the books properly - but that of course excludes tapestries and scrolls. I really wish the journal was a bit more organized and less obtuse.
